I like it better the Rudy's, but he still believes in that tuition break for illegal students. Has Huckabee changed his ways and decided to listen to the American people? What do you think? Is it realistic?

I am a Huckabee voter. Let me correct it, I was a Huckabee voter but has gone back to the Obama camp just five minutes ago. I am still grieving on what I just heard Huckabee say on t.v. He stated, "No one in this country has to hide in fear; they can live here with dignity and be proud." "I am glad to live in a country where folk are trying to get in and not break out." He went on and on, and my heart fell to the floor. Finally, I hear for myself! He lied to us all alone because he came across as he was against illegal immigration. From what I heard, he is the most Liberal of All the politicians. Yes, even Obama takes a stronger stand than he. I am confused because if you are a Christian, you are suppose to be for obeying the law and doing the right thing. I am really in shock, for he concealed the truth hiding behind his Baptist Minister persona. I still like Tancredo, for he is real. He is more adamant than Lou Hobbs about illegal immigration.

A very easy thing you can do to help is to stomp out the nonsensical rhetoric of advocates of illegal immigration on the Yahoo Answers board. Anytime you see a post by someone against illegal immigration, support it by giving it your point of approval (the upturned thumb). Conversely, anytime you see a post from someone promoting lawlessness and acceptance of illegals, bury it by giving it a negative vote (the down turned thumb).

It's a small effort, but an important one, to let all on this webspace know that you are not going to accept the ridiculous argument of sanctions or amnesty for criminals.

Most companies outsource to other countries for several reasons. 2 of the big ones are cheaper wages and less regulations on pollutants in air and land. Seeing the World now has taken up the cause of Global warming and cleaning up our eco system shouldn't these U S based companies be held responsible for their actions in regards to pollution and contributing to illegal immigration by the low pay they offer in these countries? I refer specifically to China and Mexico as prime examples. We get a lot of Chinese here illegally believe it or not. Often for use in sex trade. Maybe if something was enforced here regarding these companies to pay a livable wage overseas and beyond our borders they would think twice about outsourcing thus leaving jobs here for us. Also these countries then wouldn't require the billions we give in our tax money to help them clean up their pollutants. Can we regulate something like that? Or is that left up to each country?

I am a white English male. But when I read about some of the attrocities in the world - low life expectancy, exploitation, poor pay and healthcare - in some of the world's countries... how can we criticise people who have come for a better life? I say open the doors and let everyone (who wants to come) in! I would do the same in that situation. It's quite flattering they like England so much to move here. And a slight unnoticeable increase in tax to allow people to live better lives is a small price to pay. They will keep increasing tax anyway.

I may be completely deluded - what are the arguments against immigration?

I remember when we didn't have a Martin Luther King day that the voters voted against. It caused such a stir that we have it like the rest of the nation because we risked not having the SuperBowl..

Now, employee sanctions will be enforced for businesses that knowingly hire illegals..

Do you think that our new law will be nationally bashed too? Threats of boycotts and then no more employee sanction law? Just curious.

OLYMPIA, Washington: An anti-illegal immigration activist is unlikely to get a permit to burn a Mexican flag on the steps of the state Capitol because of air pollution concerns.

Nick Bradford, of Tacoma, said he wants to burn the flag when the legislative session opens in January to encourage the state to do more to crack down on illegal immigrants, including allowing local police to arrest people who enter the U.S. illegally.

"Obviously, the protest is intended to get the attention of the public, but also the politicians here, in Washington," Bradford said. "We can't always bark at the other Washington and George Bush. We can do things locally here."

Bradford recently called Visitors Services at the Capitol to ask about burning a flag on the steps, but officials were not sure whether it was allowed. The Department of General Administration, which operates the building, checked with the Olympia Fire Department, which said any burning would have to be cleared by the Olympic Region Clean Air Agency, department spokesman Steve Valandra told The Olympian newspaper."Flag burning is a form of protected free speech, so if he wanted to get a permit to do this, GA would grant it to him, as long as he abided by whatever other preconditions existed," Valandra said.http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2007/12/07/america/NA-GEN-US-Flag-Burning-Permit.php
