A very easy thing you can do to help is to stomp out the nonsensical rhetoric of advocates of illegal immigration on the Yahoo Answers board. Anytime you see a post by someone against illegal immigration, support it by giving it your point of approval (the upturned thumb). Conversely, anytime you see a post from someone promoting lawlessness and acceptance of illegals, bury it by giving it a negative vote (the down turned thumb).
It's a small effort, but an important one, to let all on this webspace know that you are not going to accept the ridiculous argument of sanctions or amnesty for criminals.

Your rights to freedom of speech have not been damaged by my suggestion....obviously. Voting yay or nay for a post will not make it invisible, illegible, or any Third Reich shtuff. A comment's rating simply indicates consensus. More for right than wrong is my sentiment. Cheers!

good point and i do. i don't think they like to hear on a daily basis just how many people oppose illegal immigration. now i know why they have such weak arguments not too good at tracking the content. good effort at trying to spin it though. remedial or mensa you decide. also join a group if you don't actively oppose a problem then you're part of the problem.

Illegal immigration can be stopped by enforcing the laws w already have. Arrest the people and companies hiring illegals, Without jobs they quit coming.

I never thought I see our country in the slump it is in now. Crime is ok to commit in America. Drugs, driving with out a license, what do I tell my son when he see that all this that I am telling him that is wrong that our own police force is letting happen?
America is not strong anymore we are weak and will pay for our BIG mistakes and for not doing anything to fix our problems.

I agree with the above poster...Hitler would be proud. Free speech is a right. Your opinion just as mine aren't necessarily everyone but it is our right to express it. Thank goodness you're only advocating to give a thumbs down and not violating them. But then you also know that's against TOS to do that don't you?
