Dirty(er) Martini said it best. I want them all thrown out, period. This is the United States of America, it's not the United Countries of What Used to Be America! Deport them ALL, along with they're babies. We have our own to take care of.

i agree with dirty except for one difference. the border patrol is NOW no longer doing catch and release. illegal immigrants upon entry are charged at the border and deported immediately. this will make their next entry a felony thus barring them from the U.S. forever. this should greatly deter that second entry because if they do reenter that second (felony) time it has the potential to force the U.S. family members to the home country to maintain the family unit. this will cause attrition for many established families too once any family member is caught and deported they will not be able to risk that second detention at our now enforced border for fear of permanent barring. those that are here and have been removed once have the potential to force the attrition of their entire family so if they have not left yet it would be wise for them to do so. the risk is becoming too great. this has the potential for us to have the U.S. illegal immigrant free. the changes we've made have not had enough time to show their full effects yet. english the national language, proof of citizenship for any financial aid or employment, properly interpret the 14th amendment to say what it was meant to, that offspring are only citizens if their parents are citizens leaving illegal immigrants anchor-less. I want Mexico to be fixed, so that people will stop wanting to run away from it.

President Calderon, if you're reading this, get off your duff and get a move on. Your country is wealthy, but the wealth is concentrated in too few hands. Fix your tax system. Then spend the money on infrastructure programs -- put up the structures so that there will be jobs in Mexico.

that all the big corporate companies get fined, seized or bankrupted to pay for all the illegal stats and help make the illegals legal...add even the smaller ones and the rich farmers that are making it even bigger because of all their illegal activities of the past... and I believe that the IRS and other gov't branches should background check all business's records on employee status past and present..

the things I want fixed about ILLEGAL immigration is everything I have no problem with people coming to our country looking to better themselves but in all honesty we need to make sure they speak the language, I'm tired of going to a store and trying to ask for something and the person's English is so horrible I start walking in whatever direction they point and hope to find someone I can understand. Also have instructions in only one language, I'm sick of opening directions and only one page of English directions in a 32 page booklet of instructions since they now write it out in every language.

Very simple - just secure the damn borders and enforce the rules we already have in place. Then you ask - what do we do with the people who are already here? - If the employers were fined, as they are suppose to be for employing illegals....then there would be less jobs available for those w/out documents and they would leave the country on their own - and new ones would get the word that the jobs have dried up.

I don't believe immigration is a huge problem; however, watering down our laws is. Drugs and terrorism have come to us from other countries and it is becoming increasingly important that we protect our borders in order to protect our way of life. For this reason, we must do more to ensure that those coming into this country are doing so with good intentions (as most are).

I would like the politicians, feds and employers to obey immigration laws just like the rest of us citizens have to obey laws or we get fined or thrown in jail..
