Guliani, will take a soft conservative approach and let companies hire more illegals while bring others to justice, status que, ironically Hillary might be our best bet to battle illegal immigration becuase she will pander to whatever gets her the most popularity,,and that with a liitle luck,,could be taking a firm stance on curbing illegal immigration, she will probably not do this becuase she wants to pander to the hispanic democrats,, but it's almost a toss up at this point, I would never vote for her,,but I don't see any canidated that will take care of this issue,,, maybey a mystery canidate,,,,there is that black republican guy,,,whats his name

I am just wondering why everyone is so focused on Mexican immigration, and really no other. We have all sorts of illegal immigration going on. Everyone needs to take a look at your heritage, how many of you are Native America? This nation was built on immigration. I would like to know how many people have researched the process of immigration from Mexico, and what would you do for your family if you were in the same situation? Why do they make it so hard for Mexicans to immigrate to the U.S. Alot of this is due to 9-11, but how many Mexican terrorist do you know? I am a proud American...not Native American! I am of German and Irish descent who came here apparently illegally!

I got the passport when I was in elementary. I we didn't notice it since recently. I'm in gr.11 now, and it says that my birth place was in CANADA, but I was actually born in USA. I guess something went wrong with the printing or there was a mix-up. Who know? But is this a serious issue? because we never had a issue with it...

I know that his dad is from a village in Nyanza Province, Kenya and his mom a Caucasian from Wichita, Kansas.

On Oprah he mentioned that his half-Indonesian half-sister is married to a Chinese-Canadian, he also regarded holiday gatherings as a "mini-United Nations."

I'm an Australian citizen with no family in America. While I am skilled, I'm skilled through experience with no university degree. My area of skill is listed "Job Zone Four" job, but I dont know how to get an employer to support immigration when there isn't necessarily a skill shortage in my skill area. Is it possible for me to immigrate through any more certain means other than the diversity lottery? I can't afford the investment option, don't have family or a spouse there, and doubt that an employer would sponsor me. Is this a possibility for me?

I ask this question because 2000 years ago a man,a decent man from Palestine who would not be able to get into most countries today taught decency and compassion and salvation and preached about helping the poor.Remember if such a man appeared today he would not have enough money to get into western countries and if you profess to be a christian how can you be sure that he will not come among them

I am so fed up hearing people say "We are all immigrants, so let the illegals stay"

I am a very open person. I want to make it easier and more affordable to get people here LEGALLY. But turning our heads while millions live here illegally isn't helping anyone but the wealthy. Most people that are here illegally, don't have health insurance. Who do you think picks up the tab? Tax payers! We pay billions for them! They are here illegally, they're not paying taxes. When they can't pay hospital bills, the hospitals are forced to charge everyone more.

Employers will give illegals jobs and pay them peanuts. Some Americans wouldn't do the work, I get that. But many just won't do the work for that low pay. When they cleared out the illegals in the packing plant down in Georgia (I believe) citizens went right in to work but only after negotiating a FAIR wage.

Let immigrants work, pay taxes, have health insurance and get equal protection!

From experience I found out that caucasian people who make an good income of at least 5k a month don't have 20-30 kids so that they can claim them as dependent to get the tax money back.

But how come poor people from bolivia or peru or mexico the parents make $900 a month and they still decide to have like 20-30 kids? why is that?

President George W. Bush has undertaken the onerous task of converting Muslim dictatorships and theocracies in the Middle East into enlightened democracies.

The president apparently believes that America can, and should, determine the form of government that billions of Muslims live under.

But while our commander-in-chief is downright eager to impose American ideology on billions of Muslims in nations thousands of miles removed from our shores, he is downright squeamish when it comes to defending America's own borders and enforcing our immigration laws.

Most distressing is Bush's assertion that deportation of millions of illegal aliens is "impossible."

How in the world can it be "impossible" for the most powerful and technologically advanced nation in the world to remove criminals who have invaded our nation at time of war?
