My boyfriend doesn't know his SS number. His mother may not give him his card. She is angry with him and might with hold it. Where would we go to get another card with his number on it? He is almost 22 and doesn't have his memorized. Mature responses only please. Thank you!!!

Did you know that there have been very recent proposals (within the past 10 years) to split up Eastern Washington and Eastern Oregon. The states are both economically, culturally, and georgraphically different. The West sides have a very rainy, mild climate with millions and millions of people who often think very liberally (especially western Oregon). The east sides have an agriculturally based economy, a very dry climate in most places (dry desert), and sparse populations (The largest city would be Spokane).

Do you pass them up-or what ? Is it getting monotonous ? I mean do you ask yourself how many different ways can the same question be asked ? What goes through your mind when you notice the same rant by the same poster - and the only difference is ..it's a different day ?

if you weren't alive or aware of politics at the time?

Just as an example... I feel I could never judge Jimmy Carter's Presidency honestly since I was born during his term in office.

People on here talk about Franklin Pierce, for instance, as being the worst president ever. How can you justify that, if you didn't live through his Presidency? Do you have ancestors who were alive then, who wrote in their diaries about what it felt like to live under that administration? Or do you go by the teeny-tiny amount of info that's written in the history books, as your basis of proof?

Please give your answer some genuine thought before posting it. I'm curious as to how each of you feel about this.

It seems in my agency when there are productive issues to be solved, they rather single out one employee and focus all their attention on that one person for discpline, rather than view the problem as much larger than the fault of any one person, but an organizational issue. As a result the real issue never gets resolved.

and plundered Social Security to help fund the bush family S&L scandal (we're still paying on that one). G.W.Bush has outspent all previous administrations combined, including Reagan-Bush.

Now unless the debt fairy waves a wand and makes that towering debt somehow go away, it has to be paid off with tax money.

How can anybody but a complete and utter cretin accuse other politicians of favoring tax hikes when the current group of idiots has put the country in the poor-house?

People should be saying "lower our taxes" and "we'll get better healthcare with the United States type HMO's" and "competition will improve healthcare", isn't that right?

So conservatives, WHY aren't people doing that in other countries? I bet HMO's would be eager to market their services with the chance to make billions of dollars, so I am sure they would be eager to expand business.

This beautiful city is constantly in the news lately. Most due to gay parades, which show some real despicable behaviour and dress.
Now they are invading and disrupting Catholic mass. The government places any and all roadblocks up against anything military. All of this with no criticism by the local government and some of the behaviour is a result of the officials themselves.
Am I the only one offended by this cities antics?
I have been to this city 7 times and now unless the city changes it's philosophy, I hope I go to my grave visiting San Francisco 7 times.
