Probably not. The rules are made by the people in power, they rarely limit their own power.

They should be limited but they would have to vote that into law , So looks like were all screwed, they were given TOO much power and now that they are working for the oil/Rx. Co.s America is doomed to continue on this path of greed and self destruction. The truly sad thing is that only 30% of Americans get off there aszes to vote, Not that it would matter much ,,look what happened when Gore got the most votes!

Yes they can make those rules, they are not against the Constitution. The problem is that the people who have to make those rules are the ones who have to live by them. Isn't going to happen anytime soon.

I'm with you. All these people care about is holding on to their position, they don't care about any issues or anything that they said when they got elected. Some of them are so old, they probably don't remember getting elected. It's sad that no one in congress will really stand up for anything because of partisan politics, or because they are comfortable in their position and don't want to risk it.
