I'm speaking of the folks who are benfiting from their union wages and then vote conservative; to limit social programs in the guise of smaller government; by voting against taxes etc. Unions are social program designed to give the worker more security and a more livable wage. So why are those so selfish?

Why didn't we have as many people protesting the Clinton policy on Iraq as we do the Bush policy? If 500,000 people starve to death because of the policy we sign, how is that any bit more humane than going in and killing them with guns and bombs as well as breaking down their government into an anarchy state. It should raise some questions, especially when the majority dying were children.

Think about it, with the global warming emergency we're experiencing causing floods there's more beach erosion- what does the US need more than sand for beaches? Are we carting it out of the Iraq deserts in order to put it on the beaches of the Rich?

in regards of majority shark attacks that are brought on by either

cut the militery budget to only 200 billion a year and give public schools the 50 billion from that so we have a brighter future of this country I would tax major oil companys and put that monny to creating ethonal plants to make americas dependents on oil a thing of the past I would make it harder for big bussiness to buy out smaller bussinesses to keep from monopolizing the enconemy and Id have Bill Clinton on my cabinet thank you and good night

back into the hands of "We the People"? Can it be done, is it legal and constitutional? Let Americans vote on the bills, I no longer trust most elected officials, not as long as they sleep with special interests and lobbyists. If billions of dollars every day can safely travel electronically, by paper, over the phone, in person, email, snail mail why can't we have the power to decide what our government does instead of a corrupt system that we all know is broken?

Why hasn't bush made the decision to go after Bin Ladin instead of leaving our troops in Iraq? Personally, I think that Bush should have at least ordered half of our troops to find Bin Laden after Hussein was found.

Imagine you live in a road/lane which is not adopted by the local council and has no street lighting, no pavements, no proper drainage, is full of potholes etc. You pay, along with your close neighbours, to have the road surface renewed when it gets too bad and your car frequently gets damaged.
Why should you pay the same council tax as someone who has all the advantages of an adopted road?

Can anyone point to an incident where someone was wronged and the Patriot Act aided in wronging that individual? For all I hear about it, I can't see a single case of an individual suffering on account of this law. I read the report, and many are taking it as smoking gun proof that the Patriot Act is bad (it is dangerously worded and subject to abuse...) but it also does a lot to help our government protect us from terror. The report mostly documents the inability of the FBI to document its operations, and that is nothing new...

Please do not post to say there is nothing, only post if you have evidence of an incident. And don't just post to attack other people, let's be mature here...
