Well, the moon does affect ocean tides. However, I hadn't considered whether the light from the moon would have any effect on plant life in regards to photosynthesis. A brief search on the topics moon and on photosynthesis do not yield and answer either way.

However, I would guess that the light reflected from the moon would not be substantial enough to help plants.

Still, an interesting question.

For one that question doesn't make sense. And two, they life they have found are only fossil forms they believe to be brought by asteroids. And most believe that water was not existant on the moon.

I guess it could be a discovery that there is no life on the moon, it has craters and the sun reflects off of it.
