When we don't get involved, countries ask us, "How come you aren't helping?" When we do get involved, countries ask us, "Why are you here?"

I'd rather err on the side of action than inaction.

In the world it is not as simple as "not interfering in other nations affairs". We are all interconnected. There are times when what a nation does can potentially threaten the well being of another nation. Also of course there is the evil of greed. So a nation can be trying to preserve its safety and also a nation can be trying to take from another. Knowing the difference can be extremely complicated. Your question is broad. America interferes for good or evil. Each time may be different. But its really that simple. Figuring out which is not so simple. I think truly you meant to make a statement which is "America interferes with other nation's affairs". The whole world is guilty of the same only on smaller scales..

the us interfere in other nations affairs becuase they are the world power. if an incident is going on and the us doesnt step in then people would start to question them and say were was the world power when all this was happening. (well atleast thats what my history teacher says)

Why do other nations constantly try to interfere in our affairs?

The answer is because we usually have a vested interested in the outcome of the nations offers. For example pretty much every country we have an interest in because they produce oil and sell it to us. Now with the war on terror and the pledge to kill the enemy in any country they hid that pretty much covers the globe. I personally agree with George Washington that we should stay away from foreign entanglements.

According to Latin American Nations, we ignore them. So the Euros complain that we interfere too much and the Latin Americans that we do too little. Heres an idea, maybe people attack america (verbally of course) because it is a big target?

Why do other nations do the same thing? The Americans aren't the only ones tampering with things, and to think so is extremely naive. China and Venezuela are guilty of the same things: Petrodollars for alliances, trading experts for raw materials, funding and aid to people of questionable history, as well as those of solid history... You'd have to be pretty stupid to think the rest of the world only sees the US doing this stuff.

Every nation tries to push agendas that benefit them in other countries, not just the U.S.

I don't know. If I had my way, we would stop interferring completely. That means pulling our military out of every other country in which we are peace keepers. It means that we stop sending food, money, medicine, etc. to everyone who tells us we don't give enough. We go back to isolationism. It is completely idiotic to tell us we don't give enought to help everyone else out but then complain we are in everyone else's business. You want all the goods we can provide but then we are just supposed to butt out after that? No way in hell.

We are financially supporting nearly every non-English speaking nation in the world. It is in our best interest to see that our tax dollars are well spent.
