THC is a perfectly legal drug under the name of marinol. Right now, it is only available in tablet form, but an inhaler version is in development. Other cannaboid based drugs are in development too. Also, with regards to glaucoma, the current standard treatment is actually better than what marijuana can do. If, in theory, marijuana was legal, opthamologists have rated it a 3rd to 4th line choice.
Their actually is a cannaboid receptor in the brain, but no one is quite sure what it does.

they have pills now with the bad stuff taken out and only what is needed for the nausea...no more legal smoke
