have amnesia? even though im a very conservative democrat, i think Bush made a good decision on going to Afghanistan. thats where attacking the WTC orginated from. even though iraqi's never were suspected in the attacks it is very possible they have helped finance it. 9-11 was an operation that must have at least costed in the millions of dollars to train and equip these muslim fanatics. as a matter of facts all muslims are fanatics and terrorists. for all u so-called conspiracy theorists, which is plum nonsense, let us not forget why the war on terrorism started. let not "amnesia" become an epidemic. how many of u agree?

I have often admired Reagan for his craziness.
He went to great lengths to build up a nuclear arsenal to match what the Russians did.
He knew there was no sense in it and he prevailed.
I say we give everybody a nuclear weapon.
Make all arms available to everyone, regardless of maturity level.
No more laws and ethics against weapons of Mass destruction.

Hey, I am advocating it for everybody.
To deny it to you would be unethical and I would not want to deny you any right to own a nuclear weapon.

We've been lied to, our voices have been ignored and the very fabric of our Democracy, the Constitution has been savaged. As Ben Franklin stated,"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
We have ignored the warnings of our forefather's who in truth saw the very dangers we face today. Not from without as we have been lead to believe; but from within.
As Alexis de Tocqueville put it so plainly,"Of course the people dont want war...that is understood. But voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."
When we look at the last 5 year, can we truely say that we have not been lead to this moment by the well planned strategy of fear and manipulation?

(Re-posted for more feedback)
I have worked for companies both young and old and I have noticed that the policies and procedures of the older companies are more restrictive and decidedly cumbersome. I believe this is chiefly due to the fact that a company is forced to adopt new restrictions each time a problem is identified.
The longer a company is in business, the more problems they overcome in this manner. At some point, their procedures and policies become so numerous that few, if any employees know them all and begin acting and reacting to situations in the most neutral way possible to avoid a possible conflict with a policy that might be buried in there somewhere. A stronger or more decisive action that they would like to take is set aside due to a latent fear that company policy is more important than their individual achievements and contributions to the company and thus they would probably loose their position if they make the wrong move.
