While I understand your obvious distress at the levels of corruption that are in every layer of the political onion, please understand that being a "slime-ball" is not confined to only one party or platform.
Throughout the course of history, every administration has been compelled to deal with those who are using public office for private gain. The difference, however, is that in our era, we are blessed/cursed with an active media that can put everything from personal opinion to actual fact on the internet in SECONDS.
If everyone you are asking to step down were to do so immediately, it would create a level of chaos in our nation that would be difficult if not impossible to overcome.
For the record, scandal is the price we pay for electing people to office repeatedly who vote themselves pay raises, give themselves REGARDLESS OF PARTY AFFILIATION the ability to have a better health care system and retirement system than we as average citizens will ever have, and who skip most days in their official terms to go out and campaign for their next election term.
The question now is, the Democrats have control for the first time in a number of years, who will they blame THEIR lack of success upon? They certainly are as zealous to give themselves pay raises. Not ONE has offered to REDUCE their salaries, remove personal privilege and refuse the perks that have become all too common.
When ANYONE in any position of leadership refuses their salary and demands that real change occur through sincere effort, the sky will fall.

The Democrats will uncover as many as they can so their slimeballs can take over.
Unfortunately, I think they are all the same. Each party has their own agenda, and will do anything to further it.
All of this trouble in the East was brewing during Clinton's EIGHT years in the White House, while he played run around the oval office with interns costing us tens of thousands of dollars, spent time defending himself in his Whitewater scandals, and entertained endless celebrities at the W.H.
The future prospects are pretty daunting, but....
we are still the best country to live in on earth!

About as many as the Republicans found among the Democrats. Humans are evil. "Government of the people, by the people, for the people" guarantees evil in government.

Democrats are the only slime balls. They give themselves a fake halo when they know inside their heads all they want is for america to be destroyed. Why? I don't know. I'm guessing republicans beat them up and stole their lunch money as children.

As many people as there are in the Bush administration to begin with obviously - they are all slime balls. If they weren't, they wouldn't be working there.
