Pork soup is back on the menu for homeless people in Paris after a judge ruled it could not be deemed racist.
Organisers of soup kitchens linked to extreme rightwing groups overturned a ban imposed by the city authorities over fears that its handouts discriminated against Jews and Muslims.

Police had shut down food distributions by the organisation SDF (Solidarité des Français) - the same initials as given to the homeless group Sans Domicile Fixe - because of alleged xenophobia and fears of protests.

Thank God a judge somewhere has stood up to the PC crowd.

Just when you thought the Iranian leadership could stoop no further: A top advisor to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad claimed in an interview with Iranian website Baztab that Nazi leader Adolf Hitler's parents were both Jewish and that Hitler himself was one of the founders of the State of Israel.

In the interview, translated by MEMRI (Middle East Media Research Institute) Mohammad-Ali Ramin, a chief aide to Ahmadinejad, told Baztab that Hitler's paternal grandmother was a Jewish prostitute and his father even kept his Jewish name until finally changing it to Hitler when he was 40.
Ramin also claimed that the reason Hitler developed such an aversion to Judaism was because his Jewish mother was a promiscuous woman. Hitler therefore, says Ramin tried to escape his religion.

I saw a headline that asked if the President has too much power and it briefly mentioned vetoes--I realized I don't know enough about them. Anyone want to fill me in?

I was asked once, should we be so concerned about nasa, when we could be spending money on social programs. I thought about it for a while. Then i came to the conclusion nasa was far more important. I realized that by social programs, is meant as throwing it away to poor people, when in reality there have always been poor people. So therefore there is no progress made. But if we give the money to NASA, there is hope and progress and a bright future. Listen im all for charity, but i dont think people who expect the government to spoon feed them and take care of them from the cradle to the grave should slow the rest of us down. We should take care of some people, but fending for yourself is an american value we we're built upon. Everyday, dcfs wastes money on undeserving, ungrateful people. As cruel as it sounds, they should not slow Our goals down. Its time for man to take a hold of the cosmos, and we should not be stopped because some cry babbies expect a hand out, granted not all social spending is bad, it just shouldnt slow down NASA!!!

Most dogs that were supposed to be banned under this act are still killing people because the Act lacked definition and was open to debate. Why not put pictures of the dangerious hybrids on show so there is no room for debate. These dogs can then be spotted walking down the rd and picked up and hanged?

I haven't recieved 3 different packages that I purchased online as Christmas gifts. Two of them had delivery confirmation, and the postman says that he delivered them. He scanned when he delivered them. The problem is: He doesn't deliver my mail until after 10:30 (at the earliest). One was scanned at 9:34 AM and the other at 10:01 AM. I live in th country and check my mail immediatly after the mail runs, so I know it wasn't in the box. The packages didn't have insurance, but did have delivery confirmation (saying I recieved them). I have sent out a couple of packages myself w/ confirmation. He scanned when he picked up and one was at 10:48 am and the other 11:54. Do I have any recource at all?
