Hello,

You mean our political leaders?

No, they do not hate each other. What makes you say that?

They are putting on a Dog and Pony show for us. You see, they have to "pretend" to hate each other so their constituents will have something to talk about ; to get their minds off what our leaders are really doing to our nation and our freedoms behind closed doors.

Hope this helps you............... : - O

My dad's a liberal and all the while when I was growing up he would complain about the Tories (We're Canadian incase this was an American asking the question and here we call Conservatives Tories) So I know that he didn't like them. In fact the only time I heard him say the "F" word was one day while talking to a liberal, he said "Those god damn f---ing tories"
Personally last election I voted Liberal. Some of the time though I do vote conservative. To me, It depends on the candidate. If he's a good guy and is doing a good job, then I vote for him no matter what party. So, no, I don't think they all really hate each other.

Take Care,

I can only speak for myself. I am conservative and I do not hate anyone including liberals. I do not agree with many of their ideas, but I am willing to listen and do not preclude the possibility of changing my mind if the information is compelling enough. What I don't like is people who paint everyone else as being uninformed or stupid based on political disagreements, but I know many conservatives who are just as guilty of this as some liberals are. Hate is destructive emotion which should be avoided if at all possible.

Hate is a mild word for what they really feel for each other. As long as no one is willing to meet half way our country will remain divided. I personally have really bad feelings towards the liberal agenda but not the people themselves. Some liberals I know are the dearest people you will meet but we are on a different wave length and respect each others feelings and stay mutual on any subject that might come up. It can be done.

I am a conservative, and i don't hate liberals, just the way they think. I think that there is people that hate each other for political views and it is separating America. Lets put America back together!

I am always amazed how well the most far right senators and reps get along with the most far left. Now, it's easy to go through the motions of hating a stranger on the internet, in a chat room or message board.

I think the moral is that it is very hard to be with people every day, meet with them face to face and try to negotiate, and hold a hatred of them. Only a very small, mean, unworthy person could do this, i m h o. People, even those with whom you disagree, have a dignity and worth you can't deny when you meet them in person, and aren't taking potshots from behind momma's AOL account.

Democrats and republicans, liberals and conservatives, can get along and even work together. Unfortunately the fringe groups on either side tend to have the biggest mouths and often drown out civil discourse.

I admit that I've gotten the wrong impression of liberals I know at times. Thankfully I was still exposed to them enough to see that most of them ARE respectable, decent people. In fact, my debate teacher paired me up with my liberal friend as a partner BECAUSE of the fact we're so different (She likes Hillary Clinton, who I can't stand). Though so far, we've agreed on most of our topics, which just goes to show that just because we disagree on some issues doesn't mean we disagree on all of them.

I don't hate the Liberal person just the Liberal views. You shouldn't hate a person for their political views but some people do.

Not real people, no. Some hatred for the politicians and some of their policies, sure, but I'm not sure hate's the right word. I don't hate conservatives.
