Obviously George W. Bush does not have this degree of intelligence (or any degree), so understand that "W" is a proxy for the neoconservative establishment (who are lobbying for regime change in nearly every Non-Western Country). Also understand how fragile a democracy is and how easy it can be manipulated (especially with television). The source is a book written in 1864 by Maurice Joly entitled "The Dialogue in Hell between Machiavelli and Montesque". It's a clever dialogue explaining how a democracy can easily be transformed into a dictatorship without the citizenry being aware. At the time of the writing, this very transformation was occurring in France by the tyrant-to-be, Louis Napoleon III. Joly was one of a few to recognize it, so he wrote this book to explain how Louis was doing it. It turned out to be a blueprint, or manual for dictators and was used by Hitler and now by Bush (as a proxy).

I'm reading a book on a U.S. President and the language that he used in his speeches struck me because of all the religous references in it. I think people would be up in arms over this type of thing today.

Why was the country dragged down with the Clinton scandal, and trials, that went on for months, when other important things were happening in the world, and Nixon was pardoned, and his crimes and perjuries were never investigated?

After Clinton you would think liberals would be embarrassed to ever say anything about wanting honest politicians. And now, before they can even take office you have Harry Reid bilking the public out a million dollars on a bogus land deal. John Conyers, censured for forcing staff to do private work for him. ( went to jail for that a few years ago..also a democrat)

Barrack Obama is discoved to be linked with a felon where he buys a peice of property at half the asking price, another chap who is wanting a favor from him buys the other half at FULL price and then doesnt develope it.
