I'm a brit and don't like the way our government runs our country, mainly because we are supposed to be a democracy but no one listens to the people. I feel I could be a better PM than Tony Blair.

Do you think you could do a better job in government in your country? if so what job, what would you do, and why do you think it would be useful?

I think there are some ways we could get the government to listen to us. just a thought. some business owners will probably not agree with this. but what if for one day the u.s. stands still. meaning nobody goes to work ,nobody maybe in the hospital thats all.just one day we could go outside and sit with our neighbors the whole day and hold pictures of the ones we lost . i cant reall think of a bigger more simplistic statement.make the economy halt alittle because our troops are the ones over there last year i lost my sister and if even for one day i could bring her back i would. all im saying is i dont think we are trying enough to make them listen .i hope oneday someone will......................peace and luv

Republicans have stated that if Democrats try to impeach bush, they would only be impeaching him because of the Republicans impeaching Clinton.

So I'm wondering, Where in the constitution does it say that impeachment is a political tool used for getting back at your croonies? This seems to be a republican definition, certainly not democratic.
My understanding is that if the president is suspected of High Crimes, you will have an impeachment hearing to see if he is guilty. If he is found guilty, you remove him/her from office.

And YES, whether you hide from it or not, there is evidence that suggests Bush should be impeached. Before you republicans post the usual "There's no evidence" Read the overwhelming evidence at the following link.

House Resolution 288 is proposed by Mr Conyers. It specifically details proposed protection for Islamics. This appears to be a CAIR "special project" that is being sponsored by Mr Conyers. Please take a minute to read this proposed legislation from the next Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. Granted, this was first introduced in May of 2005, but is still buried in the process.

Is this another step in the process of bringing America down from within?

I've been reading about the Ethiopia-Somalia conflict recently and it says there hasn't been a stable government for 15 years. How do people live day to day without a government? For example, what do people do when someone commits a crime? When someone gets sick? For education and work?

According to what I've been reading, it's a malevolent secret organization tied with Skull & Bones, that is responsible for many wars & the demise of governments. Could this then be the devil's work?

There is a fashist elite of the Shona tribe (within Zanu-pf) that makes Hitler look like a sunday shcool teacher.

Under the dictator Robert Mugabe's covert agenda the white population living there have been reduced from 270,000 to 10,000 in less than half a generation after reconciliation was a policy.
Some 20,000 blacks of the Ndebele tribe (20% of the populatuion) were killed on the orders of the dictator with the bayoneting in public of pregnant women in villages being the order of the day.
This same president sits in The United Nations when he should be going to The Hague.
America could have helped by documenting and presenting to the U.N. the hundreds of thousands of stories of barbarism that have occured there after 1980 when that country last had democratic elections.

The Independent, a news organization from the UK reported today, "One thing that will not change is the rules for television coverage of the House, which is currently limited to close-up images of floor speeches. The rules do not allow panning shots that would show that, in 99 cases out of 100, the speeches were made to an empty chamber."

Any other job will require you to show up for your job to be paid. Why should we not hold congress to to an attendance policy?
