Is it too late or did the idiot government of America which help fund the Taliban on the attacks in which they committed on America themselves, Bushs War on terroism and other current and past crisies in the world help shape for a third world war? Will the Germans be involved in this one? Does it matter Bush is leaving next year or everything will still be messed up... and possibily worse?

Due to touch down of tornado in New Iberia, LA the whole town razed to ground and two innocent lives are also lost. Had those homes are built with Cement and Steel like rest of the world do there wouldn't have been any loss of lives and property. US claim that it believes in recycling. Yeah we recycle petty things but we build our homes with 100% non-recyclable wood. In our homes every single thing used is non-recyclable and comes from trees the Structure Frame to Roof to Cub Boards in our kitchen. Not only single family homes even multistoried apartment complexes are also built totally using wood. The federal government oversees so many things but conveniently ignores this type of wastage there by allowing the cutting of trees and global warming. The lame excuse we give for this type of wastage is building homes with concrete and steel is very expensive because labor involvement is too much. OK why can’t we use the cheap labor that is coming across the border?

and I don't mean...just some of it is invalid...I mean all of it.

People give away their rights in the name of "security". All the government has to say is that "You will be safer" and people roll over.

So, how mych longer before both of them are meaningless??

Where are all the greenies, now that our state is on fire? I hope they are helping out at the wild animal rescue centres caring for the wounded and orphaned wildlife. Perhaps they could help the people who are trying to protect their houses and livestock from the fires.

They have been haseling the gov't for years to get horses, cattle and people out of our state forrests. The result is record amounts of scrub and brush undergrowth to feed a fire. So, now after neglecting access tracks and signage for years, and record breaking drought, the forrest is ablaze and no one can get in there to put it out.

How can common sense be put back into our leadership.

Polosi celebrated just the right amount, promised just the right amount, showed her domestic side along with her full fledged political side, and looked every bit the leader she will be in the next two years. Finally, she honored all the woman of America by acknowledging the marble ceiling she had broken and then declared "the sky is now the limit in America for woman." I myself hope that woman take a big handful of the leadership in foreign and domesitic policy, because the men have made a mess of it again.

A show of force isn't gonna make the jihdists law down their arms or get them to the bargaining table. 20,000 more of our troops will only escalate the violence three-fold. By the time our guys even get there the Iranians will send fighters over there in droves to continue the Sunni genocide. Al-Sadr the head Shiite, is loyal to hezbollah and has more popularity and militia forces over there than we have troops. He kills Sunni's and US soldiers without prejudice. Our going over there and showing a presence will allow his Militia (most of them Iraqi police) to wack Sunni's off at will.

More troops, more violence, more of our men and women caught in the middle of the civil war. The only good thing about the whole scenario will be the increased call for W's head making it such a double edged sword for those of us who want him dethroned. Blood is gonna be spilled over there until a winner emerges from this civil war--

Why should we help them kill themselves off?

Can anyone, in a fairly simple and concise way, tell me what the (main) responsibilities are of the Senate and the House? Which one of the two is more 'important' (has more demanding responsibilities, etc) and now that the Democrats are in control of both, how will that effect the President's ability to run the country? How much control does the President really have if both the House and the Senate are controlled by Democrats?
