When I see her in the news, I wonder if anyone thinks "You go girl!" or do they all think "Shut the hell up, we don't care!"

She is so stupid that she does not realize she is dishonoring her son's memory. She has become an uber-lib whack-job with no consideration for others in her situation, and no true consideration for the well being of other soldiers or the country as a whole.

I think that the notoriety that Cindy Sheehan gained was largely as a result of George Bush's refusal to acknowledge her a year an a half ago when she was camping out in Crawford, Texas. The President could have nipped it in the bud, but he's too stubborn. Remember, Hurricane Katrina cut short that vacation in Crawford. He was roundly criticized for his lack of involvement then. I'm not crazy about Cindy Sheehan, but fifteen minutes spent with her would have defused the situation.

Embarrassment.

She covers her self in the blood of her own son to support her own views. Even her ex-husband could not stand what she was doing with the memory of their son.

I am not a huge fan of Ann coulter but she brought up a great point that makes sense to me. People like her use her personal tragedies to convince us of their points but at the same time use those tragedies as a shield to protect them from criticism.

Personally I am glad to not see her face and name in the paper. As an American she has a right to present her point of view and as an American I have a right to ignore it. At work we had a guest by the name of Cindy Sheehan, and I flat out refused to provide any service too her till I was certain it was not her.

I don't share her views, but I do respect her right to protest. I know not everyone has the same beliefs as I do. But I served 6 years in the Navy to ensure that she (and every one else in this country) has the right to speak her mind and protest what she believes to be an unjust war.

Honestly, I never think either statement. I always feel sad when I see her, and I simply see a woman in so much pain that she has become obsessed in order to dull that pain. I have to ask myself how I would feel, especially in light of what I think of this war and our President. I have two sons, 17 and 21. It would be hard enough to sacrifice them to a righteous war, though I would be very proud of them of course. I'd also be proud of them if they enlisted to fight in this war and I would respect their choice. But if I lost them to a war that simply doesn't have a legimate basis for existing I would be angry as well to the end of my days. I have mixed feelings about Cindy Sheehan, but I'll never pretend to know her pain.

She definitely does represent my views but she is only an embarrassment to herself and her poor son. She thinks the war is wrong, but she could find better ways to get her point across than this.

I fail to see why someone who is using her son's death to capture her 15 minutes of fame could be viewed in a favorable light by anyone.

I come from a right-wing/libertarian view of the world but I do not believe my liberal friends would endorse her behavior.

That is one sad case. I feel for her for losing her son, but she needs to wake up and realize that that this is 2007, not 1969. The "late -sixties -protesting -against- war" thing is getting old.
