I know the stock market, post office and feredal buildings are closed today with President Fords funeral will today be considered a normal banking day since the banks usually follow the federal days off.

Banks are open today.

There is a law (dating back to the bank panics) prohibiting banks from being closed for more than 3 days straight.

Law is 2 days in a row not 3. the banks will be open. Hope this helped ya.
