All I hear is about Global warming, did we not expect those to ever melt. They were formed form freezing tempetures, any warmng of the world, would of corse melt them. It's not only green house gases, it's the space shuttles bustiing out throught the ozone layer that protects us from the sun. The GOV has to blame it somewhere. They were(icebergs) were formed over time, therefore in time they should surely melt. It is not only us, who are killing the planet earth. Of all the planets out there, do you not think they once had life. MARS ...closest we can guess had life. It being pulled closer to the sun, the expansion of the Sun itself, can cause a planet to be so hot, that all life will disapear. If they really want to do something. stop all the invading and plan a way, that life will remain when the Suns temp...are so hot that we must find other way....but we continue to blow up other little countries and use that money resourse to findle away our only way to remain on this planet .

Although Supreme court decisions cantain much discussion of political theory, philosophy, law, and policy, it can be argued that the court is primarily a practical body-that is, it uses practical guidlines for hearing each case. What evidence could you use to support this statement?

....the problem is i dont understand what the statement is saying

“As far as public opinion, the president will not shape policy according to public opinion,” - Tony Snow

New York Times, 'Fissures Grow on Eve of Bush Speech on Iraq' Jan 9, 2007. Written by David Stout.

Does this mean that President Bush will not lead the country as the people want? Isn't this the basis of representative democracy, that the president leads the country how the people see fit, working with them or convincing them when they disagree?

Or is it something that I am not understanding about government?

Or did Tony Snow make a boo-boo?

Is it his Churchillian good-looks, his love of lager, or his wonderful broguish Yorkshire accent (I think it's Yorkshire, anyway)?
What does this man have that the rest of us don't?
And why was he never Prime Minister?
Come on everbody. Vote "William" at the next election, whoever he represents, because, really, he represents us all.

It is very common practice of the US to launch missile air strikes against populated areas if they think someone wanted is hiding there somewhere, and usually they kill the guy but they also kill many innocent civilians. After that, the US officials say they are sorry(not), and case closed. And they don’t care because it was “3rd World” Nation civilians.
How about if a “3rd World” Nation wanted someone and thought the guy was hiding in a US town, then send a “3rd World” cruise missile to blow up that US town, and then just say sorry, and case closed?
Would the US send a cruise missile too if that wanted guy was hiding in Paris, or somewhere in China?
How about if the US suspected a wanted guy was hiding in a US town would they send a missile to blow the town up, then no criminal repercussions, no monetary “compensations”, and just say sorry, and case closed?

Apparently YES !!

Can someone please clarify what sort of "PLAN" would allow its countrys' BEST asset go to the aid of USA in AFGHANISTAN, then were left GROSSLY under-manned and under-resourced when 77% of US troops were withdrawn from AFGHANISTAN shortly after?

I quote from http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/6244955.stm
"Foreign office minister Geoff Hoon has responded to claims British forces in Afghanistan are "overstretched" and said the mission is going as planned.
Tory MP Sir John Stanley had told MPs in a Westminster debate that UK troops were "more than pulling their weight".
But, he said, they were undermanned and lacked vital equipment. " UNQUOTE

QUOTE Sean Langan (from the Dispatches programme link http://www.channel4.com/news/dispatches/article.jsp?id=986#start) " Overstretched and outnumbered, are the British troops fighting an unwinnable war in Afghanistan?

YES when Tony Bliar (sic) doesn't follow up on http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/5414974.stm
