You can keep your bathing suit on (topand bottom) if you want, but I encourage you to try going nude if you get the chance. Of course, only do it if you are totally comfortable with the idea, but try not to rule it out completely without some consideration. Having the warm sun shine over your naked body is the best feeling ever, and swimming in the nude is very liberating--plus you don't have a cold, clammy, wet bathing suit to deal with when you come out of the water.

You'll look ridiculous in pasties...but remember, you don't have to be topless on the beach just because it's allowed. You're perfectly free to keep your top on if you want.
You may be shy now, but believe me once you get on the beach and see that most girls are topless (or nude, if it's a clothing optional beach) it will become no big deal for you to take off your own top and just relax like everyone else.
No one will stare, and after a few minutes you'll never want to wear a top again. I go to the nude beach here on Long Island and love every minute of it...you will too!
Have a great vacation...and get some sun on those boobs!
Bare hugs...
PS...remember to use at least SPF 30 the first few times you take off your top...you can get a nasty sunburn on your boobs and nipples otherwise. (Happened to me my first time!)

Going nude is a great thing to try once, and far away from home where no one knows you is the ideal opportunity. So you should try once, even if only for a short time. Try going for a swim and taking off your bottom while in the water then maybe walk back to your towel before putting it on.
But absolutely you can keep your bikini bottom on if you want. For that matter you can keep your top on too if you want.
Have a great time, and remember plenty of sunscreen, esp. where the sun doesn't normally get to.

You don't even have to go topless. If you don't feel comfortable doing it, don't do it.
