...to pick a decent leader? I cling to the hope that the election was somehow rigged and that 51% of the people who actually took the time to vote did not vote für George.

If the people of our land would vote for a man who is poor in math, ex. thought lowering taxes and raising spending would balance the budget... Has little understanding of modern science, and is a terrible public speaker, I mean the guy doesn't understand English grammar, which is ok by me, as long as you're not an English teacher or President. I could go on and on, but I would like to know what your thoughts are.

Was 9/11 justified, I never thought so, however listening to fellow americans views on race, politics, war, I can now understand the attitude of the terrorists. (I do not agree with terrorism though)

Evrything that seems to happen, wat with the war n all that seems just to perfect. the goverment creates a false sense of threat, how many times hav u read "New alqueda video released...new attack imminant" it creates a sense of danger among us and therfore we think wat eva the goverment does is gud to "protect" us. really, if they were going to protect, with all the money at disposal, then why wud london get hit?how did the all powerful and inteligent systems fail? a year afta the london attacks...a day before the anniversary they "find" a video of one of the bombers warning of more deadly attacks. perfect timing to enduce more fears dnt u think? and then the very nex day afta the video is aired...goverment announce more troops goin to afghanistan.hmm so they build up fear n then tel us they gna send more ppl to die so we think they r "protecting" us. im sorry if i have offended any1,this is jus my opinion and am very interested if any shares my views on this world wide corruption

We could have televised debates with the phone number to call to vote for this candidate or that. Would this help eleviate voting irregularities and other technical crap, or just make it worse?

I'm somewhat confused by its latitude. Does it imply one cannot openly address ones opinion? Is one to toe the line to major party political policy thinking? Because Joe says / thinks ......................? is everyone else expected to run / adopt the same viewpoint or whatever accordingly.?The extent to which it is motivated and implied is somewhat unclear?

From everything that I've heard and seen regarding their collapse looks too controlled. I've seen numerous documenteries and such that show the construction of the towers and their collapse. The top should have fallen off like when you cut the top of a tree off, only much different since it's a building, not a tree. The bottom part would still get crushed but the top wouldnt fall straight down like that.

Steel keeps it's structural integrity at up to 2500 degrees and the buildings main steel support was a column of posts in the center surrounding the elevator shafts. The fire may have burned hot enough to melt the posts and cause a collapse, but not a perfect straight down one like that, the odds of it going like that once are phenomenal, let alone twice which is what were expected to believe.

There is no plane to be found anywhere in any photo taken of the pentagon on or after the events of 9/11. Not a wheel, a piece of luggage, a body. Even with all the camera's at the Pentagon, covering every square inch of the property there has only been 5 frames released from one camera, the date in the corner is wrong and it shows what appears to be just an explosion. A gas station who's camera was positioned so the pentagon was in view when it all happened was immidiately confescated. The hole itself isn't even large enough to have been made by a 747.

Delores Taylor and Tom Laughlin

"Our foreign policy is in shambles. At a time terrorists will soon have nuclear weapons in suitcases to set off in our subways and nuclear plants, we have failed miserably in the war in Afghanistan, created a full blown civil war in Iraq that is now engulfing the entire Middle East, and completely failing in the war on terrorism which is causing a quantum leap in the recruitment of terrorists and suicide bombers all over the world, and pushing us further daily into an unprecedented nuclear crisis … and no one asks why …

I think that our fore fathers, our grandparents, and parents did not fight with blood sweat and tears, to see Americans going without healthcare and dental care. In the BILLIONS paid in taxes, and the BILLIONS sent out of this county for others, it is way past the time for a national health insurance that is the right of every American, living here in America. IT can be done, and should be done, if we quit electing politicians too busy making themselves and their friends and families rich, or richer, we need politician that again CARE and work for WE THE PEOPLE
