definately! I look at like those mother and children in shopping centres, the kid is demanding sweets (costello) and the mother obliges otherwise the child kicks and screams and you are left wondering who has the most power!!

I think in Abbott and Costello, he was just trying to be the funny one, and Abbott was the straight man. Now, Elvis Costello has been accused of being lazy ,in the sense, he's hasn't always used his tremendous songwriting ability to it's fullest potential, so, yeah, maybe he is a little spoiled.
