I'm curious to hear why people vote or don't vote.

Yes, but I take my vote very seriously. My community, state and country are very important to me. I'm reasonably intelligent and I keep myself well informed so that I have a good understanding of a wide variety of issues from the local level to the international level. I abstain from voting in races and on issues where I do not feel that I have enough information to cast my vote wisely.

No, I live in South Carolina and it always goes Republican by a huge margin. Even if I believed in voting, it wouldn't make a difference. Added to that, the bible says be no part of this world for I am no part of this world (Jesus speaking). Voting is basically taking part in American government, which is part of this world and therefore in the end voting is anti-Christian, or at least that is how I interpret it.

Because I want the right person to win
But sometime it doesn't work that way
and sometime it does
If more people will vote they will not have
so much to get work up about

I don't vote because I don't want to elect the less bad. I only want to vote for the party which represents me 100%. How could I vote on soemthing I disagree with?

Yes, I vote. Why? - Because I can. I don't think I can say anything good or bad about the way someone is running the country if I did not cast my opinion.

Yes, I vote in every election. If you don't vote, then you have no real right to complain... If you don't vote, you can't make changes...

Thousands of people have died for my right to vote, and I don't want to lose that right and I want honor those who fought for my rights and freedom!

I have never voted, but I would like to.
I am never able to get to the designated voting places...I am going to send off for an absentee ballot so that I can be sure to vote.
(It's sent to your home and you stay on the absentee ballot list until you take yourself off, or don't vote with the ballot sent to you).

1. So I can put people in power who are more likely to make the right decisions than their opponents.
2. So I have the right to complain when things go wrong.
