Hi, I have got an offer to go to US on business visa to attend an event of some company. The person here says, the visa validity is 6months, so after going there first 1week I need to attand the event and then he will provide an NOC to work there and also to convert it into Workpermit visa. Is this process possible over there? How can I trust that person about this issue? because this is tied up with huge amount, please suggest me with clear idea...

My best friend that lives in the Philippines needs a hotel/company to sponsor her so she can get a working visa from the U.S embassy in the Philippines and move here to the U.S. She has a B.A in Hospitality. She wants to know if I can help her find someone to sponsor her. Does anybody know a website I can go to so I can find more information? Thanks.

I was wondering how long it would take my boyfriend to recieve an H-1B work visa through his engineering company that will be sponcering him.

Background:
He was brought to America when he was two years old. The entire time he was here he always thought he was born here. He raised here his whole life. He graduated just recently with a bacholors degree in mechincal engineering and then something terrble happen to his family and his parents were deported. He was then told he would have to leave as well and left the country before he wouldve been deported. He is 22 years old and knows only American customs and his life was here. How long could it take for him to return if he even can. Please tasteful comments as this is a hard time for the both of us.

Why is there not an African IPO for The world to invest in that can be an alternative to begging for money from the IMF or World Bank which place deadlines and conditions to terms of agreement that may not be in favor of its lenders!

Where Is the African Presidents And The African Union on this subject when we see Europe,China ,& India economy growing from the world investors!

Can these processes which is missing be the solution for Africans needed technological upgrade and infrstructural needs.
