why does the us gov spend 50 billion on solar panels... free electricty within 5 years there paid off and itd probley save like ten million barrels of oil a year and create alot of jobs within the country

SOLAR PANELS CAN BE CONNECTED INTO THE GRID AND WHEN THEY PRODUCE MORE ENERGY THEN THE HOUSE NEEDS THEY WILL FEED IT INTO THE POWER GRID!! AND YOUR METER WILL REVERSE

Great question. One I really cant answer. I think that our government officials benefit from all the oil sold. They are shareholders of the benefiting companies.
