Well if ya hold an Irish citizenship it's no problem but if not then you should ask the Irish Embassy about it.

If your Mom or Dad or a Grandparent was born in Ireland you qualify for citizenship.

If a Great Grandparent was born in Ireland you qualify for citizenship if your Parent who qualifies became a citizen in 1986 or before that time frame (had my Grandmothers become citizens in 1986 or before then my Mom and Dad would qualify for Dual citizenship but back then I had no idea of such law cause I was a kid back then).
