First, are you happy with the current state of this country and the direction we are heading under the Buch administration?

Second, do you believe Rudy is going to do anything other than the current status quo?

Recent elections have been characterized by small turnouts of eligible voters. Some democracies require their citizens to vote. Do you think this is a good or bad policy?

EVERY time we see the news, or read the paper, or look on the internet, or anything. I am sick to death of hearing about that hag Hillary...and all of the others as well.

People get so nasty about some Ron Paul supporters showing that they are supporting him, but the "chosen" ones are splattered EVERY freaking where.

I don't say bad things about people who are all gung ho about the medias chosen ones (although I do find them very very much like sheep and brainwashed). I have no problem stating that Hillary is nothing more than a socialist and Rudy wouldn't be crap if 9/11 didn't happen in NY. That's all he has.

People who rag on Ron Paul supporters need to get the stick out of their....errr....and realize that the main stream medias chosen ones AREN'T the only ones that are running....NOR ARE THEY THE BEST.

Would you support Hillary's proposal of the government's providing $5000.00 to every newborn if it meant that it was the first and last handout ever given to that person? She wants to provide for in the beginning, to promote a "good start" in life. Spend it wisely, or spend it foolishly, it's your choice.

Will this act actually help reduce the amount of money spent on welfare, or will the government be back later in life to shell out more $$ to these same people?

Anybody else see a fiscal problem here?

Dont get me wrong, I fully understand the whole two term limit thing and that he can no longer run for President. But could something happen to allow him to stay in office? To delay or cancel the elections?
I hate to think of all the hard work he has done going down the drain. I dont see anyone who is running on either side who can fill our Presidents shoes.
God Bless America!

Lou Dobbs has published his belief - that - the next elected leader of the USA will be an 'independent' . . . neither a Democrat or Republican . . . but one who has not yet declared candidacy.

How does one write in their person of choice, on a ballot?

I vote for Lou Dobbs . . .!!!

They do not represent the interests of the people of the USA. They seem oblivious to the problems their actions/inactions create in our lives. They seem to truly believe it is okay to not enforce our laws. Why aren't both the Democrats and Republicans stamping their feet and demanding that our ports and borders are secured? Why aren't they at least investigating price fixing with prescription drugs, oil, etc ? Why are they okay with a few media conglomerates taking over all media outlets in America? Why do they believe the middle class should pay with their tax dollars for costs they don't want, such as billions to Pakistan, rebuilding of Iraq after the Iraqis blow up their country, Schips for adults with children making middle class wages and making select groups of people pay for it, perks and social services for illegal immigrants, outrageous salaries to mercenaries in Iraq subsequent to unmonitored no bid contracts, thievery of billions of tax dollars, etc. ?

I'm not an American thus I can never cast any vote for anyone but as an ordinary citizen of a 3rd would country I know that the next president of U.S. of A would surely have an ambiguous power over our country. I just want to know more about the candidate that the American net society would like to vote.

I'm sick of hearing the Federal Government blamed for State issues. All the GST raised goes to the State Governments and all of the State Governments are better off now, due to the GST than under the previous fund allocation scheme. Recently, several of the State Governments highlighted budget surpluses. Did anyone else notice that these surpluses were very close to the GST amounts that these States received. Qld's definately was! The GST was meant to be used on Hospitals, Schools and Roads, with extra funding available on application to the Federal Government. Instead, we find that Schools and Hospitals, in particular, have received less State funding and, in the case of Qld, sporting arenas have been built instead. Suncorp Stadium is one that comes to mind. Qld also put the Ambulance Service into financial stress, removing Ambulance Subscriptions and attaching a "Levy" to power bills, after which they reduced the amount allocated to the Ambulance Service. That's Labor at work!

Now I live in Canada so i dont plan on voting for the 2008 election anytime soon, but one question still rings through my mind. How much support does Ron Paul actually have? I keep getting really mixed messages here, there are several polls that claim Ron Paul has little if any support, but at the same time I see his name all over the net, all over yahoo, videosift, youtube, everywhere.
