I`m happy with how Bush is running the country. I also think Rudy will prevail. He has more than proven he can keep a cool head in times of crisis. He is more than capable of running and improving our government.

First who is the "Buch" administration? I for one am very happy with the state of the country. If you like low unemployment, low inflation, high stock market prices and the knowledge that we are winning in Iraq as well as in Afghanistan then things are going well. Could things be better? Sure - I'd like to see lower taxes and less government because I firmly believe that I can spend my money far better than the empty suits inside the Beltway.
As for Rudy, only time will tell. First he needs to secure the nomination and unlike the Democratic party which swoons at the feet of Mrs. Clinton there is real debate amongst the Republicans.

No, I am not happy with the current direction of this nation. I voted for Bush and he's been a tremendous disappointment. His tax cuts would have been the best thing that he's done if he also hadn't increased spending. I was in favor of U.S. involvement in Iraq when we first went because I thought, and still do, that Saddam was a threat. The problem is we went about it the wrong way and have gotten ourselves bogged down over there, and completely ignored Bin Laden in the process. Thirdly, Bush has allowed the problem of illegal immigration to get to an almost unmanageable point.
Rudy has his strong points, but to me, they do not outweigh his negatives. Rudy is in favor of gun control, and I can not support a candidate who is like that. Rudy's plan for a national ID card scares me - it seems eerily close to what Hitler and the Nazis did. Rudy would also continue the current "war" strategy that has gotten us stuck in Iraq and going into record debt.
While Rudy has somewhat proven himself to be capable of handling a crisis - and I now have serious doubts even about that due to what's been said by the firefighters, I'd prefer a President who I believe could help us to avoid another 9/11 and that's why I'm voting for Ron Paul. To me, the thing that separates Ron Paul from the other Republicans is his opposition to the Patriot Act, which I feel is a cluster-f*ck of a violation of our civil liberties.

Oh God!
I HATE the way this country is being run, and what gets me even more FIRED up... the Internet KNOWS this country is in more trouble than we pretend, but major media doesn't let ANY of that through.
Every Politician the media has to offer has NEVER made me feel comfortable.
To me... this election isn't about who wins (dems. or reps.)... it's actually about putting someone in our PRESIDENTS chair, that ACTUALLY could run the country with little help or knowledge.
Come on people, could you really see HILLARY running this WHOLE country.... could it be Rudy??? Nope, none of those people know how a country actually works (that's debatable, but we're in a time of need, so we need to be SMART)
RON PAUL HAS IS THE ANSWER
He already knows what he would do in 2008... he doesn't bring lies, he doesn't bring hate... he brings his ideas to the table, and gets his work done RIGHT to get the job don.
CHECK HIM OUT...WE NEED HIM MORE THAN THE MEDIA THINKS.
Don't vote in a politician who will only bring small fixes to little problems... we need to attack THE BIGGER PROBLEMS
* Iraq
* Our National Debt
* Our Boarders
* The U.S. Dollar (at an all time low)
* Our foreign policy, (his position spells FREEDOM)
* The increasing size and power of the federal gov.
* The lack of getting much done in congress

current state of the economy is good except for the oil (not control by the president). Yes he will clean up lots of social programs (if he can clean up a city like New York )... also clean up the wasteful spending by congress and help the law to fight crime and national security...

no, i'm not all that happy with it but i think it's better than what john kerry would have done.
actually i think the man has a grasp on the economy, that's mostly what i'm voting on is whether or not i think they will be able to help on the home front. because it seems to me that all the politicians have the same veiw point on iraq, but i'm not to keen with his stand on torture. in that sense i'm more behind McCain.

No I'm not at all... apparently most of the country isn't either.. look at the Bush administrations approval ratings.
No I don't.. He wants to continue fighting the war in Iraq, possibly start another one in Iran. We have a 2.4 trillion dollar deficit, does he have any grasp on reality when it comes to our economy? we cannot afford our own actions overseas.. He wants taxpayers to fund abortions and he has already flip flopped on the gay marriage issue several times. Not to mention he's a known racist and he is in favor of amnesty for illegals.
and btw the only thing he proved on 9/11 is his incompetence.. just ask the families of over 242 dead firefighters
