I would think they would be laughed out of the facility they are speaking in, which is why I suppose I haven't heard this perennial favorite election time rhetoric in a long time.

The prophets of the GOP (God's Only Party) will be at the convention to continue to use family values issues and avoid the real issues, the war, economy, health care and other vital issues. They will use the gay marriage issue as the whipping board and gay agenda to whip up the party.

The majority of true conservatives believe strongly in family values. hence the pressure on The 3 (yes just 3) Republicans to resign (as 2 have already). Do you ever see a Gay Democrat do that, no matter of fact you see them lauded even after one is accused of getting an underaged male page drunk then raping him and another that allowed a gay prostitution ring to operate out of his house.

It sucks, because I believe in them, but I know I can't back the party up because THEY don't back it up.

RON PAUL has been married to the same Woman for over 30 years. In this day and age, it's sad to say that that's something to brag about, lol.

I feel that he definitely represents the Family Values sector of Americans, a decent sized voter pool, RON PAUL'S statements of Education Policy are ALL in support of families having control over where they're children are educated, and that gives them more freedom to protect WHAT they're children are being brain-fed.

That's not extreme really, because as our morals reach as ultimate low in this country, (please don't bash me on that, it's just being honest) it would be good to put more power in a child's parents than in the public school system we have now.

This guy's life accomplishments bring more than just family value merits, if you want to judge a man on that:

-He graduated from Duke University of Medicine, and flew as a U.S. Airforce Flight Sergeon in the 1960's.

-In 1968 he and his family went to Texas where he began his medical practice
(He's delivered OVER 4,000 babies in his whole life) Cool!

- Dr. Ron Paul served in Congress during the late 1970s and early 1980s, took a break to go back into medical practice, only to serve AGAIN in 1997 Congressman of the 14th district of Texas.

----He has his beliefs and he STICKS TO THEM!!!
He has never once voted for things he felt wrong in his heart. He has probably one of the cleanest voting records (comparing what he says, to how he votes) out of anyone in Congress.
*********How many people out there are just tired of the same politicians who can't seem to make up there mind, and never seem to actually get anything done?
-- He's a BIG believer in limiting the Federal government to what the constitution grants them to do. And in Multiple areas.
*** This would give a lot more powers (definitely not all) to our beloved STATE GOVERNMENTS.

It's a lot harder (as America has grown to it's biggest ever) to run things as 50 states from one WHOLE federal government, as it is for 50 states to work together (a little more individually) to form the whole. I personally think that it's a change in direction that could be good for the future of this country.

You think all Republicans should be prevented from speaking on a topic just because a handful were involved in scandals? Do you also think all black people are criminals just because some of them are drug dealers? Racist.

The republican constituency (are at least part of it) sincerely believes strong family values are the foundation of a strong nation.

Certain individuals in power may (and probably will) make mistakes in this area, but the belief in family values in the voters will not be shaken.

I love how Democrats point out Republican scandals and forget about the Democrats that are scum ALSO! You have a perfect example to be so "proud" about and follow her example, as she takes illegal campaign contributions!

I do not think facts will stop them. Since when do Republicans care about being called hypocrites?
Gingrich was still shreiking about family values after divorcing his seriously ill wife, telling another wife (with MS) that he wanted to divorce her on mothers day and all the while giving it to his secretary.
And there are a great many "conservatives" that want this pig to run for President!

Dare? You bow and scrape before the likes of Bill, "Can't Keep My Fly Zipped" Clinton, and you question Republicans on family values?

J.F.K. was called "Jumping Jack" during his time in congress. It was estimated that he slept with a thousand women.

Abortion is the dem "family value".

Thanks, but don't need to go there. The fact that Republicans won't tax you into oblivion and choose your doctor should be enough to get them elected. Speaking of scandals, how's Hillary's fund raising going? Norman Hsu feeling better?
