I’m doing an article for the high school newspaper and was wondering, what do you think are going to be the major issues discussed in the 2008 presidential election?

She doesn't leave a tip according to NPR
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=16099751

and ABC

So you can't complain this is out of control right wing media.

She talks a good game about caring for the little people but when the rubber hits the road.

She is stiffs those who serve her.

Anyone want to defend her actions?

If so, then you are a very smart person. The Democrats....
Lets see. Promote peace and harmony, feed the poor,
finances public services, decrease gas prices and
restrictions, denounce racism and the acts that
follow it. Uh, Democrats are for the people, they
have better foreign relationships, excellent businessmen
women, protect the borders, help real estate, help
progress in schools. Check the record. No child left
behind is a disaster..... Democrats are better at
security, as they had more police patrol on the streets
of America, and inner cities. Low crime rate always.
Once again, check the record. They promote job
security, and social security. Check Clinton's record.
Enough said. Oh an uh, Democrats are for women's
rights. The question is, are you a Democrat ?
Best answer wins.

Even as a democrat I can respect Paul for his principles. I may not agree with all of them but unlike the other republican candidates and many of the democrat candidates I trust that Ron Paul is who he says he is.
I don't understand the Republicans though. He is pro-life, pro-gun, more fiscally conservative than any other candidate yet the Republicans favor Giuliani.

Will the votes ever catch up with his with his internet fame and his one day fundrasing record?

On the last Democratic debate as you all know she made a MAJOR slip up when she hinted that she would give illegals driver licenses! Take a listen...............
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MB767W3w594&eurl=http://hotair.com/archives/2007/10/30/video-hillary-clinton-flip-flops-around-eliot-spitzers-licenses-for-illegals-plan/

Yet later on she said she wouldn't! DOES SHE THINK ALL AMERICANS ARE STUPID!? Only stupid people would vote for her after she flipped flopped on NATIONAL TELEVISION! My VOTE will go towards Obama or Edwards! Hillary in my opinion has lost it!

Seriously, does any sane person think that a pro-war candidate stands a chance of winning the election or of even making it close? Republicans must adopt a position of being against attacking 3rd world countries that pose no threat to us and in favor of going after Osama bin Laden, not the Bush Doctrine of attacking 3rd world countries and starting a police state at home to distract the American people from the fact that he let Osama bin Laden get away.

Why do most Republicans continue to support fringe candidates like Giuliani or Thompson instead of backing the only candidate who can beat Hillary?

This is a serious question. I'm going to vote against Howard for sure, but I don't imagine that a Rudd government is going to be heaven on earth.

(For instance, Hawke was a major disappointment to me.)

It's time for us to set an agenda: what will we require from our new government?

I usually have a feel for these kind of things.... and sadly, I have to admit that I "feel" that Giuliani is going to win the presidential election.... any takers???

I'm not a Republican!

He is pro waterboarding, and a Bush crony to boot. This just doesn't make sense to me. I'm not a republican, but even if I were, he'd be last on my list. I think he'd make an absolutely HORRIBLE president, perhaps even worse than the one we have now. Is that what everyone really wants? I sure hope not!!

Democrats do not want to raise taxes on people in the middle class and lower, I seriously doubt that those of you on Yahoo make more than two million dollars a year.

Most of you would get a tax cut and more tax credits and would benefit from a Democratic President, But you've bought the lie that Dems just want to raise YOUR taxes., it's not true.

SO why do you belive it? And who tells you this?

I mean I bet there are alternate sources out there and why wouldn't we use them if cost efficient? I have seen a great one on here that could make history. If Bushes are "cousins" to Saudi then what next when they leave?

The one who becomes president, is the one who the power elite CHOOSE to put in office. America picks the president, but the choices have already been picked FOR you by the power elite. They do this so they can't loose. It's like buying cola at the store. You pick the cola brand, but either way, you picked cola. Don't believe me? Look at the success of Ron Paul. Look at the enormous amount of money and supporters he has. But the little people (like yourself) probably have never heard the guys name. Why? Because the mainstream media is bought and paid for by the global elite. They won't allow the man to succeed, because they (the global elite) hold the cards, not you. The elections are a fraud. Anyone who doesn't realize it, has their head straight up their a**.

Pls star if you agree, Thx.

I am fascinated with right wing trying to take down the only candidate with a chance to beat the evil empire (Hilliary and Co.). Somewhere along the line they forgot about the 2006 backlash from the voters in response to poor right wing leadership. Ron Paul might be the best guy to be president but REALITY is he won't be president.

So are you going to stand by your convictions and tear down the only moderate who can beat "the beast from the east" and risk having a Democratic President (and first Man) or are you willing to compromise to ensure security, low taxes, and control of the White House? Hilliary will beat any true conservative right now are you willing to compromise?
