As for voting for him yes I would because he would never allow the Iraq war to have gone this far..........The "dictators" feared him as was evidenced by the day he took the oath of office our hostages in Iran were released after 444 days in captivity.............I don't think 9/11 would have ever happened if Reagan was in ofc............For the reasons of foreign policy alone I would vote for him...........He did make the U.S.A. strong whereas others, including and especially Bush, have made it weak..........Reagan commanded respect and achieved it within the U.S. and foreign countries........I'm also in a position to say a lot more than I am saying because of the job I held during Bush Sr.'s & Reagan's administration but because of contractual obligations that bind me for life I can't say any more..........I really wish I could though...........GOOD QUESTION!!!!!..........CAT

Once again the mindless robots of the democrat far left sycho's have jumped out there in all there no-nothing splender.
Taxes when Mr. Reagan took offices were in the 78% range. Interest rates were at 21%. Gas was being rationed. THANK YOU JIMMY CARTER !!

MR. Reagan, cut taxes, lowered interest rates, and brought down the price of fuel.

We were in a coldwar situation with the then (USSR) now called Russia. We built up our military, whereby forcing the USSR to spend money to keep up. They went belly up.

The tax cuts under Reagan brought more money to the Government than at any time in history. But you can't keep spending like there's no tomorrow.

Even President John F. Kennedy knew that and said so in his first State of the Union Address.
Cutting taxes generates money money to the Government. It works everytime it's tried.

If Mr. Reagan were President now,we wouldn't be hearing from Chaves like we have, and the Congress would not be shooting there mouths off the way they have been. Or selling this Country to the UNited Nations. We wouldbe exploring for our own oil. Building Nuclear power plants, and other sources of energy.

Hey! Don C; you better hope your daddy "slick Willie" dosent read your blog. He'll be p.o. that you took the honors away from him. He was the one that raised the ss tax. The biggest tax high ever. Get your facts straight.

looks like a average to me. He gave us our first Trillion dollar debt, then after Clinton fixed issues Bush lived off that prosperity for some years till he destroyed united statesa., so, Reagan became a good president by way of fact he became an American. it incredibly is all i will say, and he TALKED TO OUR ENEMIES. proper? what's your concern with an amnesty deal. Migration has been happening way earlier we illegally took the South West by using rigidity from Mexico, remember CIVICS, so we could give up the ethnic cleansing white reps opt to do and function some uncomplicated experience, or in step with probability we could give up figuring out to purchase unlawful drugs if we choose the CRIME to bypass down. who's figuring out to purchase the drugs? hint Cocaine use is 10-a million a white pushed concern...think of!

America needs strong leadership, particularly in foreign policy, which is seemingly drifting into the rhetorical avenues of appeasement, when decisive responses are necessary - as in the cases of China and Russia. Reagan made other leaders sit up & listen, because his messages were going to backed up by decisive actions. I would vote twice for him if I could.

One of the best president the country has ever had. Even though he had to follow that goofy Jimmy Carter. We need another Reagan. A leader, not a slippery politician.

Reagan is dead. That would make little difference, however, in the effectiveness of his presidency. Like Dubya, he was an affable front man for big corporate interests, aided by a gullible, easily manipulated electorate. Until the electorate grows up, you might just as well have a corpse in the white house.

I keep looking for the next Reagan, and I'm eager to financially contribute to the campaign, vote for him/her, and donate time and service.

No, not at all. I'm tired of the fact that he said this "The nine most terrifying words in the english language are "I'm from the Government and I'm here to help you." or something like that.

He dismantled the middle class, our jobs, our constitution, the downfall of this County began with Reagan, why would I want more of that.

Why do we want people who hate the Government to run it, they just run it into the ground.
