The one who becomes president, is the one who the power elite CHOOSE to put in office. America picks the president, but the choices have already been picked FOR you by the power elite. They do this so they can't loose. It's like buying cola at the store. You pick the cola brand, but either way, you picked cola. Don't believe me? Look at the success of Ron Paul. Look at the enormous amount of money and supporters he has. But the little people (like yourself) probably have never heard the guys name. Why? Because the mainstream media is bought and paid for by the global elite. They won't allow the man to succeed, because they (the global elite) hold the cards, not you. The elections are a fraud. Anyone who doesn't realize it, has their head straight up their a**.
Pls star if you agree, Thx.

When I hear a democratic candidate running for office I don't recognize what they are saying any more. I don't hear an appeal directly to me or my peers. What I hear the candidate saying is an appeal to the power elite to give them a turn and they will comply with their wishes.

I totally agree with you these (power elite) people do choose the canadaites theres no way lose. Why would they (the power elite) take a chance on some average joe get in office and mess up all they have worked for and possible let the "truth" out and send the country into panic.

"power elite"...where in the world did you come up with that? You are comparing electing a president to choosing a soda at the grocery store? Those are two completely different things! This question is much like the one I just read about religion vs. science...believing in God vs. not putting your finger in an outlet.
I think there are some people that can be easily swayed, but I refuse to believe that's how presidents are elected into office. If this theory were true, then Kinky Friedman would be the governor of Texas right now, and not Rick Perry.

Nope.
That's not how it works.
There are lots of candidates, but then each party votes on people who are running in their party, and the person who has the most votes is on the ballot.
Next time, do a little research.

Yes, that's basically how the country rolls- but you'll have a hard time convincing the majority of Americans, because they are blindly patriotic, particularly in times of "war". It's amazingly easy to leave the country and go live elsewhere- I did, and I'm glad I did.

The media chooses the candidate. They're too scared to support Ron Paul because when he gets rid of the federal reserve they'd loose hundreds of millions of dollars.

My problem with Ron Paul is that he's been a backbenching congressman. He's really not done a thing that's noteworthy, and now he wants to be president.
Of course, he's just as or more qualified than the top 3 dems, based on that standard ;)

Nope , sorry but your arguments are just not convincing enough.
Try explaining why Dem's are replaced by republicans and vice versa.

Uhm.. Duh it's called the preliminary round. You aren't 18 are you? Right now there are 40+ candidates from all the parties, the preliminary round selects the tops from each party for the actual election.
