First of all, I am a Democrat, so I am not attacking the Dem. party. After watching Hillary in a few debates, her tone and statements are so polarizing and harsh. She stated that she has tons of experience fighting the "right wing machine." Of course, I want my party to have the next President, but I do NOT see how once she is elected (if it happens) how things will change when so many people and Republicans despise her! I would much rather have Obama or someone else who has a record of working on both sides of the aisle be our next President. Too many years of nothing getting accomplised are wasted years!! What do you think? And spare me the next President will be a Republican statements...that is not my question/answer.

Are the polls truthful? Is this all hype?

I think Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are ALL hype, no substance.

President Bush's war in Iraq faces growing opposition from those who are on the front lines: soldiers, their families and veterans, including high-ranking officers.

A bipartisan poll published by Business Week in December showed approval for the president at a mere 36 percent among soldiers, their families and veterans.

"I think the American people were conned into this [war]," said retired Marine Corps Gen. Anthony Zinni, a Bush supporter in 2000. Zinni, who was chief of U.S. operations in the Middle East until three years ago, also charged the administration with failing to plan an occupation that would rebuild Iraq, provide internal stability and advance democracy.

Why don't Democrats understand that by viciously attacking one another leading up to the primaries is more detrimental the anything?

Why are they trying to throw away their chance to do something positive for this nation with the possibility of controlling the white house and congress?

It seems sensless!!

Assuming you are voting for donkey, do you think that Dennis Kucinich would have more chances if he had charisma like JFK, Ronald Reagan or Mitt Romney?

Mitt Romney flips out of the race faster than a fish out of water, Fred Thompson gets too old and scared to annouce his run, and misses the deadline. McCain runs out of money and and he can't pay for passenger plane tickets any longer. Tancredo and Hunter drop out due to unpopularity, so Paul, and giuliani is left.

Mine would have to be...

-Working class backround
-Male
-age 50-55
-former lawyer
-former serviceman
-east coast
-Protestant Christian

-Democratic senator (but not too left wing)
-strong foreign policy & well-traveled
-big diplomatic plans
-doesn't want to make our country a haven for illegal aleins

I am not saying that a candidate who didn't have these qualties wouldn't get my vote, but I'm picturing my ideal presidential candidiate and describing them...

Anymore elections are to much like popularity contests and not enough focus is given to getting honest answers to the tough questions. (This applies to both parties by the way)

Hillary the Inept Cameleon," who can't seem to change herself fast enough to blend in with the latest opinion polls, will have a real problem when it comes time for her to turn her sights on Joe Biden. She's using up all the brain-power she's got attacking Obama's inexperience. Apparently, even as she stands before the crowd, glowing with conceit, she fails to realtize that, with Obama out of the picture, as she would have it, she will be hoisted on her own battard--after Obama, both she and John Edwards are the least experienced candidates! Hillary is actually making the worst possible argument for her own cause.

The numbers don't lie: Let's list the candidates in the order of their experience in national or gubernatorial public office:

1. Joe Biden (U.S. Senate, 34 years)
2. Chris Dodd (U.S. Senate, 26 years; U.S. Rep., 6 years)
3 Bill Richardson (Governor New Mexico, 3 years; Energy Secretary, 3 years; U.S. Ambass. 1 year; U.S. Rep., 14 years)
