There are three reasons why the democrats can easily loose the presidency and both houses.
1: They seem poised to nominee the one candidate that will clearly loose the election. Hillary Clintons poll numbers show that she has a very narrow lead over republican frontrunners while Barack Obama has an easy lead over them. And the GOP conservative/right-wing wing will turn out massivly to stop Hillary becoming president while the republican frontrunners already are running in the center. This, while those on democrat side supporting Barack will not automatically choose Clinton.
2: The democrat controlled congress/senate approval ratings are lower than ever before. So, the people who voted democrat before will not automatically do this again.
3: As said a Hillary Clinton candidacy will give a massive GOP right wing turn-out. They stayed home the last house & senate election and that gave the democrats their majority.
So, yes they can easily loose house, senate and presidency.

The Dem's will take a major majority in both Houses, when the republicans are no longer a viable party! And this will happen in the Nov 08 election. Not one republican is going to be reelected this time! They've crossed the line, they've gone too far this time! Two losses back to back is political suicide for any party, and there is no hope of recovery! The gop will go from losing the White House, and both the Senate and the House! Their only saving grace will be the remains of the SCOTUS which will change when a number of them resign or are forced to do so and they will be replaced with LIBERAL Justices which will hold sway for generations to come! The words republican and conservative are going to be dirty words not fit for mixed company! Most of the voters are Democrats and now when they're needed the most they will all be certain to vote this time!

I sure hope so! The Dems won't get us out of Iraq either as most liberals think. The Dems realize it is not a wise idea just to go in and remove the troops. They have had control of congress and they still haven't done anything but hold up any progress. And ideas like giving free health insurance to children in a family that will make up to $82,000.00 a year is ridiculous. You can thank Ted Kennedy for that one. I agree with Johannes.

No, i'm extra annoyed that there are individuals who theory the Democrats could desire to end the warfare with the minuscule majority they have. as a manner to "end the warfare" they could desire to have Republican votes from the different element of aisle transforming into a member of them interior the attempt. something they positioned by using that smacks of ending the warfare receives vetoed by skill of Bush, and since the Republicans are caught like glue to the occasion line, they won't connect the Democrats in overriding the veto. retreating investment from our troops is political suicide. in actual fact that in the event that they did it, there are adequate already present money to deliver those troops domicile, which they had could desire to do. yet maximum individuals do no longer comprehend this and picture that pulling investment skill leaving in the back of the troops. With the Republicans persevering with to perpetrate this falsehood, the Democrats could threat a worse reaction from the yankee human beings than the only they're getting now. If that could desire to take place we could finally end up with yet another Republican President and that could desire to be the worst results of all. This warfare is going to be surpassed off to the subsequent President, and that's a fact. All we can wish is that the subsequent President proves to be extra powerfuble in effecting variations in Iraq that make it achievable for us to entice down the final public of our forces. The Congressional approval score is at 11% - and make no mistake - it is due as lots to the Republicans being obstructionists because it is using the fact the Democrats can not get something performed. This u . s . a . is mad at each final certainly one of them, Democrats and Republicans alike.

Al Cracka..please site your comment. You are incorrect..
" According to the May 10-13, 2007, Gallup Poll, 29% of Americans approve and 64% disapprove of the way Congress is handling its job. Congressional approval is down 4 percentage points since last month, and is 3 points lower than the 32% average measured during the first five months of the year"

Here's the deal boys and girls---it doesn't really mean a RATS BUTT what a poll said in MAY or what a poll says in September---the only thing that matters is what the VOTERS say in NOVEMBER... and what they will say is anyone's GUESS at this point... so instead of getting all hot and bothered over SPECULATIONS, why not just get your butts out there and let your voices be HEARD loud and clear on election day.....

In coming elections the Democrats will lose the presidential race and both houses of congress. Why? Hillary is so obnoxious to middle American she can't possibly get elected no matter who the Republicans nominate and the Dems will nominate her as their candidate. Congress will be lost because the Dems are so afraid of the wacko left wing of the party that they continue to cater to them and will alienate the American voter who is much more conservative.
