Tbh my ideal president is one will not be a wussie, one that will repair the debt, warfare background or military background or actual knowledge, someone THT will not make Americans worry, a president who intimidates countries but has a balance, someone who knows what's needs to be done n how to do, shows no favoritism is a specific class, sets goals and achieves them, someone who is determined, believes in equality, some who as a president stills acts like a reg citizen n is involved, agriculture background (a big thing in government) , represents the country n maybe buddies up with countries to be positive there's no betrayal plots, someone who will help jobs, n takes great pride in American value. Maybe a mix of ike (Eisenhower) n JFK would be great!

My ideal candidate:
- thinks the Constitution is still relevant
- understands that the Constitution does not make the President an emperor
- is strong enough to not use unlimited power even when offered
- believes that I know better how to run my life than a politician or bureaucrat
- believes that government should not just make up law but is itself subject to the rule of law
- believes in human rights for everyone, not just U.S. citizens
Incidentally, I hope to have found my perfect candidate in Ron Paul.

must have a phd in political science and have 20 + years as an elected official. he/she cannot simply pull the party line and must be able to speak coherently and be able to adequatly argue their positions on issues without invoking religion, a higher power, or tradition. they cannot take money from lobbyists, they must campaign in every state.
i'll think of some more.
