When I went to "Girl's State", I learned each political party creates a "platform" of issues to be promoted if the party wins, but we don't hear anything about it. We just hear "what do YOU want to do, Obama or Hillary or whomever!"... it should NOT matter WHO is the president if we are ALL ON BOARD with the platform issues. When the Dems play "politics" like this, they don't really want to help working people. Let's take the party back.... get a platform, and stick to it... and it won't matter who gets the democratic nomination because it would be their job to "promote" the platform issues.

These are election maps of 1992 1996 2000 and 2004 in case you are not familiar with the growing trend of the Republican party.

You see a growing number of Republican (Bush) voters after the election of 2000 despite his bad reputation and decreasing approval rating*.

Will this Republican trend continue towards the 2008 election?

Out of curiosity list the state you live in and if you are a Republican or Democrat?

Me:
Alabama
Republican

with issues like iraq, immigration, out-sourcing jobs, the war on terror, george bush's screw ups, and and a bunch of leadership democrats and repubilcans who are too scared to do the the right thing for the better of the country. with all this it seems like people are still more interested in paris hilton than voting.

He is against Washington corruption

He voted AGAINST the Iraq war

He is against this all-pervasive Goverment

He is for fixing Healthcare

He is for fixing taxes

And he did serve in America's military with honor!

He has voted against anything un-Constitutional to the American people - thus earning the nickname Dr.No

And Con's and Bush/Cheney supporters hate him because he is Republican against their evil sell-out America agenda and they can't call him a Liberal

They also hate him because he doesn't have any dirt they can smear him with - pure American through and through

It makes me laugh - The Internet is a strong tool and it is so good to see a candidate use that tool to their full advantage

Now if we could just get them to get rid of the tampered Diebold electronic voting machines and go back to paper ballots counted in a public forum, there isn't a chance in hell they retain power after the elections.

Look at his voting record

Since the Democratic Political Party seems to be totally Pro-Socialism,( and the RULING GROUP CALLED COMMUNIST) and the Republican Party Pro-Big Business( the RULING GROUP CALLED INDUSTRIALIST), we could simply refer to them more accurately as the SOCIALIST/ COMMUNIST and INDUSTRIALISTS !!!! This way, we voters can deside quickly just how we wish this country to be run. ( I will bet that the major presidental candidates would HIGHLY OBJECT TO THEIR AGENDA BEING PROPERLY NAMED !!!!!!!

Do you guys think Bloomberg can win the NY electoral vote? He is very popular in NYC. If he wins the NY votes and the other 2 candidates closely split the other 49 states electoral votes, the House of Representatives will elect the President because no one will reach 270 electoral votes (simple majority). Just a thought, let me know your input!

I am a Libertarian not voting for him. I actually do not like any of the candidates on either side except for Biden. I am voting for Biden because of his plan for Iraq, Iran, Darfur, and Afghanistan.
