He is against Washington corruption
He voted AGAINST the Iraq war
He is against this all-pervasive Goverment
He is for fixing Healthcare
He is for fixing taxes
And he did serve in America's military with honor!
He has voted against anything un-Constitutional to the American people - thus earning the nickname Dr.No
And Con's and Bush/Cheney supporters hate him because he is Republican against their evil sell-out America agenda and they can't call him a Liberal
They also hate him because he doesn't have any dirt they can smear him with - pure American through and through
It makes me laugh - The Internet is a strong tool and it is so good to see a candidate use that tool to their full advantage
Now if we could just get them to get rid of the tampered Diebold electronic voting machines and go back to paper ballots counted in a public forum, there isn't a chance in hell they retain power after the elections.
Look at his voting record

Thanks Congreat for making my point for me.
He voted agains the war because it didn't have UN backing and because it was being rushed - he wanted better information and not the bogus crap that Bush and Company presented.
If you were going to put the face of all the American people on an invasion, he wanted to make damn sure it was valid!
Again, for America and the people

I'm a "Con" not a "neocon". We like Ron Paul. He's the most conservative runner out there that is sane. We would love to see him president. Bishop, you sound like one of the paid anti-ron internet army keyboard people, which candidate do you work for? See what it feels like?

Ron Paul is a perfect conservative. However this is not a perfect world. Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich will be great presidents idealogically for the conservatives or the liberals, respectively, but they are just not going to get elected. America needs more of a pragmatic leader, not a pure ideologist.

I think they hate him because he isn't lock and step with the Republican party. He knew the Iraq war was a mistake from the start. That's the reason he won't win the nomination unfortunately. I however will be voting for him as a write-in candidate -- I'm tired of having to chose between the lesser of the two evils.

I would say hate may be to strong a word. Concerned might be better. Ron Paul's record reflect a more truly conservative agenda than most republican politicians. He is more of an isolationist that his counterparts. I like what he has to say. If people would listen to his message rather than have a knee-jerk reaction to someone that doesn't follow the party line.
He won't win, but I hope that we see more candidates like him that true conservatives will support.

Yeah, Dr. Paul is purely too conservative for the neocon Bush supporters. The humorous ingredient is, Dr. Paul is not any 3 interior the money pastime proper now with the GOP applicants and is purely before John McCain. this potential that he has somewhat some grass roots help.

No because he is a NUT JOB.
NOT playing with a full deck
Look at his record
I would not vote for anyone who voted against the war at first.
With the info that the Congress and Prez had...anyone not wanting to sell out the US voted for the war
He also makes to many promises HE CAN NOT KEEP and HE KNOWS IT...he will just blame congress.
We need a REALIST in there not a dreamer

Now that's rich. Consgreat was dumb enough to climb into the cannon just to get shot out.
The neos hate Paul because he's a real conservative. Neos are simply wanna be fascists. That's why they made up the word islamofascist... to draw the heat away from what they are.

First as a conservative, I don't hate Ron Paul. Hating is a trait of the extreme left, not of conservatives.
However I believe his beliefs on Iraq, terrorism and national security are incredibly naive.

If you mean, by Cons, conservative people at large and, by hate, you mean don't support him, then the answer almost certainly is ..., well, maybe its just plain ignorance.
If, on the other hand, you are referring to the Legislative branch of our malevolent government, then the answer is plainly that Ron Paul makes them look bad like Cinderella made her evil step sisters look bad. Now that they REALLY hate!

His not backing of the war and wanting us to have the backing of a group of people who wouldn't give us backing because they were on the payroll of said dictator, does not render your story much credibility.
