Why should it matter? I have always believed that a woman can do as she pleases with her own body. If this is what is best for her, then so be it. I care about Thompson's politics for the country. Abortion issues don't belong in politics.

I'm been supporting Ron Paul since January. Why support the fake Ron Paul (Fraudulent Fred brags about being on the side of a few 99-1 votes, but Ron Paul was nicknamed Dr. No because he is frequently the only no vote) when I can support the real thing? Ron Paul is also pro-life on abortion, though he thinks it should be a state issue (there is no federal power related to abortion in the Constitution, afterall).

To be fair, abortion is still legal. Yep, go ask the Supreme Court. And also to go further he wasn't pushing abortion in High Schools he was simply trying to get abortion counseling laws eased in certain cases. Hence if a woman walks in at 6 weeks and says "I need an abortion" most clinics are required by law to talk to her about other options.
Sometimes though doctors with other ideas in their heads use this requirement to see to it that the baby (through counseling) gets to a certain point in gestation so that it must be born regardless. If not it would be considered a partial birth abortion, and if you think 6 weeks was bad this is absolutely horrible. And now I believe in many states Partial Birth Abortions are totally banned.

My point in all of this is before you read 1 story and decide Oh he supports abortion you look at the facts behind it.

The truth is abortion laws should be decided at the State Level. That's why I support RON PAUL. No flip-flopping, just a solid constitutionalist voting background.

I don't vote with my emotions. An abortion is a decision that a woman makes, and she has to deal with the after effects of her decision.

I wish for once that all of the assholes that run for office, would actually run on a platform that supports the running of the country and not on emotional fueled crap like abortion and gay rights. Stopping a woman from having an abortion or stopping a gay dude from shacking up with another gay dude, isn't going to balance our budget, or stop us from being blown up by some Korean half pint with a bad Elvis wig attached to his misshapen head.

first of all, Bush have been given in as a results of fact he stole the 2000 election! If Clinton had run for a 0.33 term, polls on the time confirmed he might have gained. And to date as integrity or character, in basic terms McCain has it. jointly as he helps an unpopular conflict that I even have by no potential supported, he could be the only to get us by it and out of it as a results of fact he has the protection tension history in contrast to all of the Republican applicants. He additionally has integrity as a results of fact he places the human beings purely before politics. He oftentimes crosses social gathering lines while some thing is purely undeniable incorrect particularly than act as a follower or specific guy or a chick-**** in front Christian conservatives. And he's wise, his helping of Bush is giving him get admission to to the approaches he desires to win an election. So specific he's using Bush to get elected, yet on the comparable time it somewhat is truly remarkable! by stepping on somebody who has stepped everywhere in the widespread public's rights, it exhibits he's acquainted with who to step on (and deservedly so) and who and what to stand up for. interior the tip however, character truly does not count selection as a results of fact people who've lost an election or have been killed for the time of an election or by no potential ran oftentimes have the main character; Theodore Roosevelt while he ran as an idependent, RFK in 1968, Jimmy Carter in 1980, McCain in 2000, and so on. The checklist is a mile long.

1. Do you think that there is EVER a candidate that you would agree 100% with? I think not.
2. Abortion is MUCH less important than CRIMINAL INVASION of this country (you would refer to this as undocumented immigration)
3. I would ABSOLUTELY support Fred Thompson.
4. Dark S. Middle Eastern Terrorist who kills innocent people vs. Socialist domestic terrorist (lib) who kills economy and wants to turn America into Europe, and appeases Middle Eastern Terrorists...tough choice.

That's just typical liberal politics at work - mud slinging at it's finest. The libs are scared because Fred is very popular with the public, so now they're scrambling to find anything and everything they can use as ammo to discredit him and tear him down.

Their tactics fail on most of us though. I'd rather not vote at all if libs were my only choice.

Everyone changes their views. Al Gore, for example, and pro-life as a Senator, but pro-death (pro-abortion) as a Presidental candiate and VP.
