Because she is leading in many polls and the next election is the Democrats to lose.
Isn't everyone tired of Clintons and Bushes.

There's a few reasons. She is clearly the front runner right now first of all. In the last month, for the first time, she has moved ahead of all the Republicans in the polls. They hate to acknowledge it, but it's true. Polls can be deceiving, but when they all read pretty much the same they're a pretty good indicator (think the midterm elections for an example).

Also, she has the qualifications, she controls and shines in every debate she's been in so far, she's got a decent plan for Iraq , along with how she plans to leave residual troops to really start dealing with Al Queda and protect our interests in the area, and she's gaining support steadily as each week goes by. She stays at the top of the heap while everyone else moves around her jockeying for position. She's a formidable candidate. Even those Democrats who don't really like her much will vote for her over any Republican when it comes down to it.

The Republicans are in big, big trouble. If this war is still raging and they haven't gotten a grip on all their scandals, the Democrats could probably run Bugs Bunny and win in '08. No matter which direction you look at it from, she's the top dog right now.

During Bill Clinton's Presidency, a LOT of people tried to discredit and emasculate Bill by claiming Hillary was the one in charge, that she was the "Real" president.

That tactic is coming back to haunt the Republicans, because now Hillary is a symbol of a simpler time, when our biggest problem was if the President lied under oath about getting a hummer from an Intern. Hillary is seen as having been responsible for that period of relative peace and prosperity, and is now seen as a shot at bringing it back.

Because almost everyone is mad at the republicans right now, and because she is polling higher than anyone else. A lot of people are tired of:

a. Being hated by the world.
b. Paying through the nose for gas (yes, I know he's not the root cause).
c. Our sons and daughters dying in foreign wars.
d. Shady dealings (like Libby)

I'm not saying that anyone else would or could have done better, or that Hillary will do better, I'm just saying that is the perception by most people.

Sorry to say this,

But men vote more then women, and the U.S.A. is NOT ready for a woman president.
And for sure not ready for a scammer and "alleged" felon like her.
Her husband pardoned a fugitive on the run....and she has no right bickering about the "commuted" sentence.

I think America could elect a black president before a woman.

But then again, I wouldn't vote for ANY of the Democrats running in '08.
I vote Democrat for most of my local elections, at least locally they seem more willing to make changes for the better.
But nationally, all they seem to do is blame, bicker and whine.
I'm tired of it.

Take a close look at American media and you will see that Hillary Clinton has been positioned to run for president ever since her husband left office in 2000. Its no surprise to me that most people think she will win even before one ballot is submitted! Scientifically its coined, "preconditioning."

The mainstream liberal media is pushing hard for Hillary. What they don't realize is they're fighting a losing battle. Recent polls indicate over half of registered Democrat voters would NOT vote for Hillary, and no Republican is going to vote for her. I don't see her getting the nomination from the Democratic National Committee. They want to put a liberal in the White House, and if Hillary gets the nod you can almost chisel it in stone that our President for the 2009-2013 stint will be a Republican.

Name recognition. That's all. I for one want change. How can she be fore change when she's bringing more of the same?

That will mean that for more than 20 years, there will have been a Bush or a Clinton in the Whitehouse. Ugh. It's just gross to think about.

I'm for Obama all the way. And it looks like he's the only one who can beat her!

Because she is the front runner and has one of the best campaigners and fundraisers in politics on her side...Bill. I don't even like her, but realize she is a force to be reckoned with. I would rather have Obama in the White House.

Who thinks that? Hillary is the most polarizing candidate on both sides. The country is ready for a woman but not for a sleaze bag like her. I'm for Obama or Mit Romney
