I can't believe the answers on this. Obviously it was meant to be a joke, albeit not funny. For all you idiots out there who think he needs one; New Mexico is part of the United States. As for the others asking her how she knows he took one, she obviously doesn't...it was a joke!

OMG I can't believe how funny that joke was. I can't stop laughing. It hurts so much to laugh like this. Oh my God, you should quit being on welfare and go straight to comedy maybe you will get your own show telling everyone about people who travel with passports.. They won't be calling it NEW Mexico for no reason. Mexico has an un-official claim on that land and a whole lot more and they want it back.

The Mexicans make sure he has it before he goes because if he doesn't, he'll be stuck there and won't be able to come back to the US.
