Yes I believe you are right. It reminds me of Hillary Clinton on the floor of the Senate eloquently and forcefully advocating the removal of Saddam.

I admit, I haven't been following Rudy's campaign too closely. What did he flip-flop on?

UPDATE: Thanks. Abortion I can understand. This indicates he doesn't really give a rat's *** about it, so he tells the appropriate constituency what they want to hear. Fine with me on abortion.

Now Gun control, that's a different matter. If he made a pledge not to enact any further gun control, I'd forgive him for past indiscretions.

They all flip-flop. Throw them all out.

My favorite was when Reagan was governor of California, he was pro-abortion. He flip-flopped to suddenly be anti-abortion so he could run for President in the Republican party.

Seriously, what is wrong with flip-flopping. Just because you're a politician you can't change your mind? Maybe most of the time politicians really don't change their mind, but does to please the constituency, but so what? We don't care what that politician thinks personally, we just want to know if he's gonna do things the way we want him to.

There are flip-flopping on both sides -- I'm tired of all of it.
That's why I'm voting for Ron Paul -- he is one Republican who has stuck by his positions. He was for the Iraq war to being with, and still is. We don't need another flip-flopper from either party in the White House.

I think Rudy has been pretty consistently anti-tax, pro-choice, pro-gay, anti-criminal, anti-terrorist.

Now that simplifies things too much, but you understand the point.

There is a whole lotta flipflopping going on. No one should talk as they all seem to be doing it.
