I feel like there is no place to go since I am damn sure not going to vote for a democrat. Little did I know that i was voting for a stealth democrat when I voted for GW. I feel like the republicans are so far out of touch with the people and their arrogance so great that this country is in real trouble what do you think?

Hopefully gaining more momentum fro the Democratic nomination? In my opinion, I think he's the most qualified Democratic candidate out of all the Democrat's right now.

This question is bipartisan because I believe that the last 2 admin. have not been held fully accountable at least for the lies. I lost count of all of the lies that Americans have been told and I bet theres more to come out long after this admin. is gone. Does anyone else agree that in the future some one should pass some kind of accountability laws. Or do most people still trust this administration. Lying is wrong whether your a Dem. or a Rep. Does any one really trust our leaders because I feel like we have all been bamboozled. I am not even talking about 9/11 or the war. Why do we accept liars as our leaders. Should not our leaders be held to higher moral standards. Once you lie to me I can't believe anything you say. So what candidate will attempt to chop down this cherry tree? Please don't say Hillary. If she told me that 2+2=4. I would check my calculator. Ha Ha Dont stop beleivin. Yeah right. I would trust a guy like Tony Soprano over Hillary.

When the dems cannot win in the current polls with these candidates and the country is in this bad of shape, why do the party elite stay behind these two losers?

This is really hard to say, so try to interpret it as best you can.

I think people buy hype and excitement too easily. For example WWE (fake wrestling), sex, Nascar, celebrities, being a democrat. It's unnatural the way things are done. People dont focus on their needs anymore, and the world has suffered for it. What do you think?

Look She might be fighting cancer but so is a lot of people. But gee she did not do the Edward campaign any good by call Hardball.
She make John Edward look more like a little boy then a grown man who is running for president. He will be up there having a word fight with MR Tom. And here she will come run in and cause a war to brake out.

I just came up with a new voting system proposal. It consists of the following: voters would receive a ballot with the list of all the runoffs. A voter then must vote for 1 candidate in each runoff. Third party and major party voters would be treated the same since they both have to vote strategically in runoffs where a candidate from either a third party or major party isn't there. The winner would be the candidate that either wins every runoff or the one with the most points. Allocating points could be 3 points for a runoff victory and 1 for a runoff tie (just like in soccer). Should there be a tie between 2 candidates, the result of the runoff is considered. If the runoff was a tie, a ballot will be chosen at random to determine the winner. What do you guys think?

Do you agree? Standing up for someone who has been wronged even though you're against them is a very admirable quality. I staunchly disagree with Tom Tancredo on a lot of things, but I have to give credit where it's due.

If he has any shred of democracy, our new Prime Minister should call an immediate general election, or certainly within 6 months. I think it should be a constitutional convention that a new Prime Minister appointed within a parliament should go to the country within 6 months, otherwise it is not democratic.

And include if you are conservative, liberal, moderate or whatever if you wish.

I, for one, am very offended by this.

It has been scientifically proven that monkeys have the ability problem solve, and I think it is a terrible insult to all monkeys to insinuate that they are Bushlike.... Monkeys are not drunks either, and they have feelings too !

Why does the United States only has two major parties. Why is this different than, for example, England? What typically happens to third party move- ments in the United States? Can you foresee any way that a third party can emerge to challenge the two dominant parties in the country?

29 Republican Senators voted to allow clouture. This stops debate and brings the Bill to the floor for a vote. Since 60 votes were needed for clouture and only 51 are required for passage, some of these will vote against it once it comes to the floor. This is a very underhanded way to make sure the bill is passed while going on the record as voting against it.

Do not be fooled all of these Republican Senators are traitors to their conservative base.

So, what is progressive about whining and complaining all the time, and not offering anything new? I thought progressive ment moving ahead or moving forward with thoughts and ideas to make things better for everyone. I don't hear that. I just hear complaining about Bush, about the war, about health care, the ozone etc with no one offering anything better. Calling yourselves progressive doesn't really mean anything if you are not offering anything. Somewhat like calling too many of todays republicans "conservatives" when in fact they are not at all. Your thoughts please.
