29 Republican Senators voted to allow clouture. This stops debate and brings the Bill to the floor for a vote. Since 60 votes were needed for clouture and only 51 are required for passage, some of these will vote against it once it comes to the floor. This is a very underhanded way to make sure the bill is passed while going on the record as voting against it.

Do not be fooled all of these Republican Senators are traitors to their conservative base.

The problem with allowing cloture is that there is no provision that requires the bill be read before a vote is taken.
This is the primary method that the porkbarrel politicians use to hide their excessive spending from us.

ALL of those who voted YEA on the cloture are FOR AMNESTY and all the porkbarrel spending included in the 'Immigration Reform Act of 2007'

Everyone should be aware of the DREAM section of that bill, which gives the children of ILLEGAL immigrants in-state tuition rates at colleges and universities, social security benefits, welfare, and the host of taxpayer funded freebies that will BREAK THIS COUNTRY.

A vote for the immigration bill is a vote for amnesty.
A vote for amnesty is the vote of a traitor.
