Dalton McGuinty, John Tory, or Howard Hampton. Personally I want Hampton in, but that won't happen. So I say Tory is in because the Conservatives are sucking in everyone.

Why do we need the government to pass laws instead of allowing business owners to make their own decisions? Why is my health so very important to the government? We are all here a very limited time anyways, should we not be happy and be able to pursue happiness?

If a candidate supported recognizing a gay marriage from a legal perspective only (i.e. the couple could file taxes jointly, make medical choices for one another, inherrit property, etc.) but not requiring a church or religion to perform/recognize the marriage would this influence your support of the candidate?

WASHINGTON - Senators urging the passage of a bill that would legalize millions of illegal immigrants hope to revive bipartisan support for the embattled measure and push it to passage by week's end.

President Bush's team is predicting victory Tuesday on the effort to allow the bill — among the president's top domestic priorities — to go forward.

"We're optimistic," said Joel Kaplan, Bush's deputy chief of staff. "Our intelligence suggests that there will be the votes there."

Conservative critics who paint the measure as amnesty for lawbreakers, however, said their efforts to stop the legislation were gaining momentum

Will the world end if Hilary Clinton becomes the president of the United States of America? I know my life will. But no offense to her. Do you want a democrat or republican?

We are told by Mormons that Romney's Mormon affiliation should not be taken as a factor in his bid for presidency. We are called religious bigots if we will not vote for him based on his religious beliefs.
Yet he is extremely popular with the LDS church and they have groups made exclusively of Mormons supporting his bid for presidency. Apparently it is not religious bigotry to SUPPORT him because he is a Mormon-it is only bigotry to OPPOSE him for that reason.
And if his religion will not have affect on how he presides over hundreds of millions of non-Mormons, why do Mormons want him in office over other political candidates? I suppose he just "happens" to believe in the same things all Mormons believe in?
When YOU voted for presidents in the past, how much did YOU care whether or not they were of YOUR particular religion?

Where does Cheney belong now. He says he is not in the Executive. Answers "in jail" will not be accepted, likewise "in Hell" as they are too obvious.

In my opinion, a big part of the reason the war in Iraq is going so badly is that so few in the current administration (and none at the top) have served in the military. They have, at every turn, ignored the advice of senior and retired military personnel in favor of advice they wanted to hear.

So, to that end, which of the candidates have served in the military? How many have served in war time? How many will lead with the advise of Generals instead of "political strategists"?

It has often been proposed that the president be limited to a single six-year term. Would such a change strengthen or weaken the presidency? Would it improve the functioning of the American political system?

One could argue neither Jeb Bush or George Bush would hold the political offices they hold today if not for the hispanic votes they both recieved. Do you think there will be a significant shift in how the hispanic people vote in the next election? Is there any doubt that the Republicans are not shooting themselves in the foot on this one?

It's clear that nobody wants mob boss Guiliani to be their president. He's already shown that he will grandstand in a time of crisis and then use fear mongering as a pretext to keep control over people. No one wants that anymore.

And the media clearly wants to pretend that Ron Paul doesn't exist even though he's won every major mainstream media poll and garners the most support on the internet.

So what do the Republicans have now? They have to push this Fred Thompson becuase they have no one else?
