Personally, I think a whole UK Government is needed. The Conservative Party would do a better job than the Labour Party in my Opinion!

Mine is on it's way in the mail.

2007-06-12 10:27:43 · 15 answers · asked by Anonymous

I tried to email Barak Obaba & Hillary Clinton, as presidential candidates, about my stance on the immigration issue.

Obama wouldn't even receive my email, as my address is not in his senate district.

I got a form email back from Clinton saying that due to the large volume of emails from her senate district constituents, she couldn't reply to mine (again, my address is not in her district).

I didn't really need a reply from either one. . . but to be told that my views don't matter because I don't live in Illinois or New York is irksome.

So, the question is, as a registered Democrat, what's a girl to do?

use misinformation and old stories that have been long ago debunked (Clinton Hit List, Black Panther story, White House china/furniture) to rag on her? Don't any of them ever check their facts? They tell these lies and then act morally superior about the Clintons while they're telling the lies. I can respect people who talk about the issues and why they disagree with her but the fact is that there is little of that in these forums.

How do you justify telling these lies and then feel morally superior about it? I'd really like to know.

Why don't we have Term Limits for the House and Senate ?

Republicans were voted in with the Contract for America with the Slogan Term Limits.

Once they got power, they never wanted to pass Term Limits.

Pressure both Parties to pass Term Limits or we should vote them out after one term until they do.

I'm a Democrat who wants Term Limits. We need to stop the corruption on both sides.

When the main concern of the aspiring Repubs was the fact that John Kerry actually went to and GW chose not to (yea he could have volunteered)-Karl Rove replied don't worry "no good deed goes unpunished." As much as I disdain the neo-con chickenhawks-they know how to win.

Could it have anything to do with his statement that the war on terror in just a "bumper sticker", or "political slogan"? The polls I've seen show him dropping a lot in the last month.

For example, on the election day, does the voting ticket from a bagger, new immigrant, and student also count as one vote as the voting ticket from Bill Gate? Or is it 100 votes from the low class = to 1 vote from the high class? In term of human right then it is fair if everyone has the same vote, but logically speaking it is not; because the variation of knowledge, social status, political point of view etc... are too big. As you can see, common sense tell me that the combination of the high class and the middle class population are not even close to the low class population. So, if the Politicians use some kind of strategies to fool the low class people to vote for them then how is the country going to have a good government? I think they may have categorize the voting tickets into 3 different classes or something lol... What is your opinions on this issue?

I think if they do team up than they have a helluva a chance of taking the white house in 2008. I think whoever doesnt win the primary should be the winner's V.P. candidate(Yes, Im pretty sure one of them is gonna win the primary. If Barack doesnt win the primary and runs alongside Clinton, then It would great expereince for him if they win, then he could succeed her after her term(s) are over. What do you think?

Democrats own congress and half of the senate, what are they doing?

Republicans are more methodical, and are great at manipulating words and you!

The republicans are always 2 steps ahead of the democrats, and in case something goes wrong they always have a back up plan. There seems to be some intelligence, but we all know that republicans are all about greed (lie, cheat, steal and manipulation).

Democrats are always 2 steps behind the republicans. They need some excellent lawyers, so that they can learn to manipulate words. My god--show your balls men and women!
Make a plan that includes at least two other back up plans—you’re going to need them. Yes, you’ll have to learn to lie, cheat, steal just like the republicans

I want to know your thoughts and what can we do about this?

Ron Paul will forever change this great nation, and we need a strong new president who abides by the constitution. I am just wondering who out there knows of him, and who is gonna vote for him. I surely will. Check out youtube, and make the choice for yourself, just search Ron Paul. Stay strong America!!! And let's get the tyrants out of our government!!!!
