If a person takes a conscious, thought out political position, and finds no candidate that represents their view, voting for any candidate becomes hypocrisy and a waste of their vote.
Under those circumstances I believe they are as entitled to moan as anybody else.
If they have not voted simple because they could not be bothered then I think they are less entitled to moan, but would not deprive them of any right to express their view.

Everyone has a right to moan, as we all do, but if you choose not to vote then you can hardly complain if things go pear shaped..The trouble is the present system is unfair for smaller parties...so if you vote say Lib Dem or the Green party your vote is often wasted (unless in Scotland where they have a proportional representative system) so a lot of people may choose not to vote as they will consider it a wasted vote.

Oh, no doubt! My gf didn't vote in th last election, and now she's all bummed cuz the Dems won, but I told her she really has no right if she isn't going to be proactive in changing the way the govt is ran. I, however, can grumble and moan all I want, I voted!

Voting is not just our right as Americans it is also our duty and privilege. Whenever someone complains about our government I wonder if they voted, I did, so I am able to say, yeah it sucks with that idiot Bush in the White House, at least I can say I voted for the other guy!!! Don't Vote? Don't complain!!!

Not voting is also a right but moaning is a bigger right because you can do it all the time without waiting for say, elections. They are not mutually exclusive but are concurrent.

Everyone has the right to moan. More and more it seems that we don't really have a choice who to vote for. Well they are different people but they are no different. In some cases why bother?

If people moan and then inform me that they did not vote, I`d walk away from them and their ignorance.

those who dont vote are more right than those who do, because every british party is selling out britain to europe, if you vote for anybody outher than somebody who will give you back your country, then you vote for traitors. .....sooooo..everybody in britain who votes is a colaberator with their own enemies.i dont vote for traitors, i am an independant non european free britain who lives in a state of war with brainwashed imbosilics who dont understand what the evil treatury is all about.
