I wonder if he would consider running for Vice President in 2008. He lost big time in the Senate race, but there were a lot of reasons that wouldn't necessarily be issues in the 2008 race.

Every person I know who is a republican, (I lie not) is a very non thinking entity. They seem to not really see what is going on. It seems they are easily influenced by whoever they happen to be talking to.
The republicans I know are also nasty and mean, non-compassionate and two-faced.
I kid you not, every single republican I know is mean, arrogant and rude, greedy and proud.
Sorry, but this all I've seen in them.On the other hand, all the dems I know are intelligent, tolerant, understanding, patient, and giving and usually have a degree.
And cannot be moved or influenced by anything, but are set in their ways and stable-minded.
It is a fact that about 95% of college professors are democrat.
There has got to be a reason why this is so.
Thoughts anyone?
PLease no insults, just some good responses, ok?

Ron Paul said they hate us because of our U.S. Foreign Policy and involvement in The Middle East.

In Osama Bin Laden's "Letter To America", he says they attacked us because of U.S. Foreign Policy and involvement in The Middle East. Basically because where over there.

Isn't Ron Paul right?

A well designed test, or series of tests, could give us an indicator if we are dealing with a mediocre mind with a god complex or an honest, intelligent leader with vision who can understand complex situations and work to deliver real solutions. We have many examples of standardized tests and evaluations to start from, such as SAT, ACT, GRE, IQ Test, EQ Test, and Myers Briggs Type indicator.

It seems in this day in age, anyone with the financial backing and a shrewd marketing team can take a shot at office, yet we have no quantitative measurement for their ability to understand complex social, economic, and environmental problems and negotiate solutions. To make them feel comfortable, we can even call it a 'profile evaluation' instead of a test--there are no right or wrong answers, just 'suggestions.' "Your profile is below average intelligence, below average character, and below average work ethic. Perhaps you should consider selling snake oil instead of running for president."

I think it is about time we have a women president. Maybe this is the one thing that is going to make a difference. There are sooo many issues at hand and I am hoping that Hilary Clinton could be the one to make a difference.

There is a loophole in the policy, and requirements of appointing your running mate.
Legally Hillary could name Bill Clinton as her running mate for vice President. He can't run as president, but could be named as vice president, and in case of Hillary not being able to serve for different reasons, Bill Clinton becomes , again the President of the United States of America.
Any Takers??

Could a politician shot from the hip and tell the truth and be accepted by the American people as President? Do we as a country want our politicians to paint rosy pictures and lie to us to make us feel better? Could we handle the truth?

AND PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY VOTING FOR HIM!

He has no idea what he is doing i've seen him on tv, and keep reading crap about him and he's a democrat EWW, he's crazy and he's got to be the ugliest person in the world.
His middle name is Hussein, I know someone who was very infamous during the last few years who also went by the name Hussein. And Obama. Not very American to me, This is the U.S isn't it. Sounds an awfull lot like Osama Binladen doesn't it? This guy is messed up. I personally think that he might launch nuclear missles at the country at the first chance he gets. He should get a job that's more his level like a janitor or a gas station attendant

What happened to the protisten white Males? Huh where'd they all go.

I'm voting for Ron Paul, but you should vote for who ever you want besides that filthy person who's name i will not say again

and why did Bush dismantle the CIA unit that was after Bin Laden???

and how many Al Qaeda members have the Repubs recruited?? since they destroyed the world's goodwill for us after 9/11?

I'm all for getting out of Iraq but not at the cost of all the soldiers who gave their lives for this cause.I hope the next president will continue to support this valued effort to some degree and will have a decent plan to withdraw with some kind of understanding that a full scale pull out will not only hurt this country but also dishonor all those that served their country well. My question is will the democrats, no matter who, automatically withdraw from day one of their term?

I just want to be 100% sure on this because I've got a test today on government. So is Gerrymandering legal? Basically it is the carving up of electoral boundaries in order to manipulate the people who vote for you am i correct? But mainly is it legal?

Also, what session of congress are we in currently (may 2007), this would be Session 1?

And lastly "Describe the leadership of the senate. Describe the leadership of the HoR."

Thanks in advance
