Why are Republicans so weak on homeland security?

And before a bunch of Fox News parrots jump in and lie about 'no attack since 9/11' may I remind these yahoos that the ANTHRAX ATTACK on US CONGRESS happened AFTER 9/11 and NO ONE was CAUGHT (just like Bin Laden)

and why did Bush dismantle the CIA unit that was after Bin Laden???

and how many Al Qaeda members have the Repubs recruited?? since they destroyed the world's goodwill for us after 9/11?

Dude, i agree with you. i find it amusing that they claim no attacks since 9-11 when our soldiers get attacked daily...and it's not like we were getting attacked once a year before 9-11 either

nicely, definite 9/11 did ensue on the republicans watch yet incredibly, there is not any info Democrats would have achieved a greater useful interest, I say this becuase that journey replaced into 6 years in the past! people have been very different and gasoline costs practice it. So i'm very courious as to what democrats will do in the event that they are sworn into workplace,,, Being a republican...

I tend to agree with you here...the anthrax attacks were after 9/11, and had no suspects. There has been a huge increase in homeland security spending with very little results. Yes there has been no attack since 9/11, but that attack itself was planned out over a period of years. The whole katrina fiasco hadn't been brought up yet...FEMA was once a large goverment enity with lots of resources, but it was downsized and folded into Homeland security, which proved to be a joke at responding to emergencies.

The GOP and their international big business masters are quietly working toward a North American Union, where there are no borders on the north or south of us. The Chinese control a few key Mexican ports - Mexican trucks will then go unimpeded through the I-35 "Supercorridor" from Mexico to Canada and all points in between unimpeded. It's all about money and making it easier for international corporations, who have no loyalty to any individual nation, to do business without nasty things like tariffs, customs inspections, etc.

Nobody's reporting on it, but the only Homeland Security they're really interested in is against their own citizens. Halliburtion is quietly building detention camps (they don't call them that of course) under everyone's radar. The national news media doesn't report any of this of course.

Bush unfortunately is an idiot on not wanting to shut down the Mexican and Canadian borders. So we have a lot of Muslim Radicals coming in over the border. Many are training in the 42 Muslim Military Camps that we now have in the U.S. But many others are waiting to attack us in the future. On the plus side the FBI/CIA/NSA has stopped approximately 200 Islamic plots in the US since 9/11 and that is pretty good work.

truth, and now they will reply that congress has an alltime low approval rating as a comeback....gee, i wonder why? oh yea, thats right, kinda hard to have a high approval rating if you cant get anything done because the commander in chimp wants a rubber stamp on all of his ideas....

If you are referring to the failure to control Our Boarders, then I really do not know, but I do know that the Democrats are even weaker! It looks like we have bad and worst for choices!
As for the rest of your story, you are wrong. Our Intelligence Agencies, along with the help of the American People, have prevented Terrorists Attacks in our Country since 911.

Because they feel like they have to answer to the Liberals. They should just go into these countries and take control of the situation. We have the technology to fight without are solders lives at stake but they feel like they are stepping on everyone's toes.
This is why most countries don't respect us. We are a super-power we just don't act like one.

The fact is, it's much easier to do something destructive, than it is to stop someone from doing something destructive. No matter who's running it, homeland security will always be an uphill battle.
