Any of the leading democratic candidates for president of the USA is in a position to do that.
A democrat will bring credibility where Bush does not.
A democrat will bring the willingness to negotiate where Bush does not.
A democrat will bring the ability to bring Europe, the UN and the middle eastern countries to the table where Bush would not.

I think Oprah is backing Obama because he's black, and the fact that she agrees with the way he says he'll run the country is second. Remember, Oprah won't have anything to do with Condi Rice, who is the most powerful woman in the country and who is black. The reason is because Oprah disagrees with Ms. Rice's political views and because Ms. Rice is better educated and more influential in the world than Oprah is. Oprah would never be in the presence of someone whom she knows is above her. And I will add this, I don't think Oprah is black anymore. She's an overrated, overexposed, self-important rich lady who was born and raised in America and became a billionaire in the country she was born in, but somehow she thinks that Africa is her home and Nelson Mandela is her relative. Even if I loved Obama, I wouldn't vote for him because Oprah is endorsing him. No way is Hollywood or television going to influence how I think or act, and I think Obama is making a huge mistake by campaigning with her. He's a schmuck.

Of course since Obama has such great political and leadership experience . Obama was a State Senator for 7 years and US Senator for 3 years. That's hardly enough experience to be President. If he had some executive jobs, then that's another story. But you honestly think that an inexperienced senator could fix Iraq?

Yes, Obama might not have had as much expereince as the other candidates, but he has the intellect. He is well aware of the problems that we are facing here at home and abroad. He has plans that would work, not just simple rhetoric. We need a president who will pick and also deal with the issuses here at home such as the education and healthcare system, social security, minimum wage, illegal aliens, steam cell resarch etc. You do not have to be a Republican or a Democrat on all of these, but we need a president who will really deal with all of these issues, not just debate. We can all agree on that.

(1) Obama doesn't have enough experience to deal with such big issue, nor he has enough people to come up with any good plans just yet.
(2) The US is no long the only super power, unfortunately... It is a fact that we need to acknowledge soon or later.

The question is not if he can, it's, will he? And the answer is, he will NOT!. The libs don't want to be seen as responsible for the collapse which will involve Iraq, Iran, Syria, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the rest of the Arabian empire if we leave a vacuum in Iraq.

Yes, since he was educated at a Madrasa, which is a code word for muslim terrorist school, Obama would likely order the US Army to bring the terrorists to America and invite them into the White House for tea.

not if he doesn't get a chance. barack is young and that being said he hasn't had time to make mistakes that other canidates have made. mccain for example, has made unspeakable mistakes and i can't believe the american citazins keep him around. america is going to sort this election by pro war and anti war. dems being anti war of course and mainly between clinton and obama. mr obama says the right things so he stands a chance but it's yet to be seen if america will take a chance on him. i'll tell you one thing...mccain is the worst politicial choice a voter could ever make.
